My wife and I were attending some friends' wedding, in the beautiful little chapel. The cocktail hour was in the hallway, with a cheese and fruit table, and a crudite table. Hot appetizers were served by hotel staff. I can't have gluten and my wife is a vegetarian, and all the hot appetizers I saw had meat and gluten, so I can't weigh in on if they were any good. Likewise the cheese table had crackers touching all the cheeses so I can't weigh in, but my wife enjoyed some of it. We had to leave before dinner was served, but the hall they had set up for dinner and dancing was really nice. :)
Most notable, at a wedding, the appetizer was short ribs. I can't eat pork. The person clearing the plates noticed I hadn't touched it, asked if everything was all right. They quickly brought me an alternative option, even though it was a plated banquet. Great service.
Was at the beechwood hotel as a guest at a wedding. The facility looks really nice and had a nice little chapel for the ceremony, sadly it didn't fit everyone who was invited. For dinner most of the dishes were overcooked and bland, the butternut squash soup had way too much clove in it and was watery, the carrots were under cooked and the bread was dry. The main course was decent with chicken or beef were both delicious however for the vegetarian option more squash and from other guests was overcooked. I would book the beechwood hotel for my wedding but I would get different catering.
The Beechwood hotel has been amazing every time I have dealt with them. I just had a wedding there and every step of the way, they were amazing. The on site chapel was beautiful. Erin worked with us to help all along the way. Every single time we met, she was very professional as was the rest of the staff. The hotel itself was great, and the rooms were amazing. I will always recommend going here, whether to stay a night or have any event.
We spent the weekend at the Beechwood and hosted our wedding ceremony and reception there. The staff was amazing. Erin went above and beyond to ensure that our wedding ran smoothly and was an absolute blast. Everything that I tasted, tasted amazing. The staff did an amazing job of setting up the ballroom in line with what I had imagined for a wedding day. The junior fireplace suite was the perfect size to get ready on our wedding day and to sprawl out after we were exhausted from the party. The biggest complaint that I can think of was that while I was out partying on the Dance Floor my water glass was not filled at the sweetheart table and I ended up going to the bar to get some water. You know when such a small thing is your only complaint that you have been well taken care of and we're an amazing hands.
Great room. Peaceful. Nice breakfast. Only 4 stars because internet would not work. Complained but no one fixed it.
Perfectly functional, low-key hotel. Plenty of parking, friendly staff.
Everything seems pretty modern and clean. The bar/restaurant decor is pleasant, and the giant outdoor patio looked promising.
The included continental breakfast was fine - not amazing, not bad.
Based on ratings and reviews my partner and I were excited to stay here while in town for her college reunion. We even tried to book two nights, but it was good we didn't since the beechwood makes big promises and generally fails to deliver.
The rooms, facilities etc are all acceptable, but the advertised amenities (USA Today, bathrobes turndown service which I never usebut you should ask me if you advertise it on your website http://www.beechwoodhotel.com/amenities.htm) were not provided in our case. The worst part was the breakfastsuch inattentive staff. I only got coffee after waiting 10 minutes, standing and walking over to the coffee pots, asking the numerous staff if I could help myself. They didn't even take the breakfast tickets issued by the desk! One added star for the bartender and one manager David or else it would be a one star. Kind of seems like the kind of place that gives the royal treatment to big shots connected to the medical/pharma campuses surrounding the hotel, but is indifferent to others. Would probably not return.
This hotel was probably one of the better that we've ever stayed at. We have to check in extremely late at 2 a.m. in the morning for my boyfriend's dad's funeral we stayed there one week and it was perfect. When we got there Sunday night or Monday morning we got to meet one of the front desk people who his name was Phil this man was so sweet and so entertaining and very philosophical so he's known as dr. Phil we probably stayed another half hour just talking to him before we even checked in. The rest of the staff was very friendly courteous sympathetic and helpful. The breakfast buffet was a little lacking but you could purchase eggs and bacon and pancakes like a upgrade for cheap. We had dinner at the steakhouse and it was very very good. the room was very nice clean comfortable. The decor was very pretty comfortable they have a fireplace you can sit in front of. They have a lot of weddings there that's a nice place for that but they don't have a pool they have a small gym. Thank you for a lovely stay. It's going to be the only place we'll stay in Worcester. They could teach bigger chains how to take care of their guests.
I absolutely love having my work meetings at the Beechwood hotel. The service is excellent from booking a meeting up to the servers helping with food. The team recognizes us and makes us feel like we are family.
