You can't beat the view on the ocean side. Just incredible. The surf was so loud. & beautiful. We slept like babies. & the bed was really really comfortable. For $250. A night. Think you'd get alil more in your room. Like coffee & tea for the morning. A microwave, A phone, a clock radio w the time on it, & a booklet w things to do in the area restaurants etc. & Wi-Fi wouldn't connect first few times. Then it did. Just things to think about. We like coffee & tea in the morning! Continental breakfast would make this place the best!!!!

We love it here, even before the remodel (high our room was lovely). It really lives up to its name the view is awesome! They have seats on the cliff, private beach, coffee 24/7 w real cream and as laid back as U like.

1st of all this is a Non Smoking Establishment which is fine..
Told no smoking anywhere on property which they do not tell you until in room, but have different rules for different people, after being reprimanded by snotty manager, witnessed people smoking at pool
Tried to use heat in room and set off fire alarm..
Bathroom sink was nasty, and peeling chipped paint on door
Stated it was recently remodeled???
Pool waz nicely heated, but dirty..
Only upside, Ocean view and very nice Bed

Balcony was really small but we did not get a room for our balcony. Others we need much larger. Hotel bar awesome private beach very nice. Parking was rough.

We have come to Pleasant View for many years before the new ownership. The rooms are clean and updates are noted in door security and bathrooms. It is a nice Hotel with a perfect location. However, you need more staff!! Waiting 45 minutes to sit down for breakfast and another 40 minutes to get the food is unacceptable - and the dining room was NOT full! Also, if you are going to have complimentary coffee and water for the guests make sure it is always full. The lobby bathroom needs to be maintained and monitored all day. A few times I was in there when there was no toilet paper and by 3:00pm that place is awful smelling and looking.
You also should have someone hose down/weed all of your outside stairways & beach access - the sand/muck build up is gross. Pool deck/chairs should also be washed off/weeded every night. You need more signage to have people watch their children in the pool area. Also, as you move into August the pool heater should be put on. This place is not cheap and these are the kinds of small things that make it feel worth it.response / report this review -

I went to spend the afternoon with someone who was checking staying that night in the inn. Despite this person booking an early check in the room was not ready on time. That was fine but we had to beg to get a beach pass so we could hang out on the beach while we were waiting. You would think that if the room wasn't ready on time they would at least give us a beach pass while were waiting. Once on the beach it was a very nice afternoon though.

Room was great, view was nice, and private parking/beach access was AMAZING on a busy day. Only complainants are very thin walls and a door that got stuck when closing it.

Nice Beach front hotel. Best on the strip in Westerly. Rooms are tight but functional. Could use a Continental breakfast to truly make it a 5 star review

a really good stay. you get what you pay for so make sure you're ready to goto the beach because the room is mostly for sleeping.
