Would not recommend or go there again. Not very organized. Personnel not trained very well. Charged me twice for my room and they did correct it.

This is a really terrible hotel. The rooms and common areas are dirty, the staff, while polite, do not clean rooms every day and are inattentive (at best) to guests' needs, while at worst they are rude and visibly inconvenienced. The pool is dirty and don't even look at the hot tub. The continental breakfast consists of milk, juice, and like, two types of cereal. I haven't seen fruit there in a few years. Skip this place until the inevitable buy-out and re-branding. Or hope a sink hole takes it and it can be paved over. Really, it's awful.

Even with the renovations going on, this hotel met all of my expectations. I'd definitely return.

Some of the details - It's definitely not a five-star hotel and doesn't pretend to be. However, the place was clean aside from the localized dust that automatically comes with a renovation and our room was basic but contained everything necessary. The room size, while fine for the adults in the family, felt a little small to my busy toddler, but the location made up for that, as it was within easy walking distance of both a traditional park with playgrounds and a county farm park. We also spent some of the toddler energy in the pool. Breakfast had continental and hot options, and while it was simple we never went away hungry. We were within easy distance of Madison for the trips we did make into the city.

As stated at the beginning, I'd stay here again. I found that this hotel and the surrounding area met our needs nicely.

Place was really nice. Going through some renovations. The owner was kind and very polite rooms were clean and beds pretty comfy. Overall a very satisfying experience a good value for my cash money

Just checked in. Wish I didn't. Place is like a ghost town. Most of the rooms had their doors propped open (weird). Several light bulbs burned out and the TV is on the fritz. The walls are not painted were the old furniture was removed and older furniture put in its place. The furniture is too large for the room and doesn't allow you to push your chair out to get up from the desk. The place is in need of a major renovation and new furnishings. Also the rate I was confirmed at is different than the rate on the check-in paperwork. These are just first impressions.

Even though they are remodeling the staff was very nice . we were there the weekend of the 15th and 16th. The pool temp was great, the hot tub could have been a little warmer but it was still nice.Will be going back un October.

Baymont Inn & Suites Waunakee was undergoing some changes to rooms, but the hotel was in poor shape as if it had been mistreated by those on staff. The hotel smelled foul of smoke except for in our room which smelled like construction material. The attendant on duty was not friendly when we arrived, but seemed annoyed. Our rooms while clean, were worn out. The morning breakfast had good options except for the hot food which was powdered eggs and some sort of potato hash that did not taste good at all. Again the dining room was worn down. I would not recommend this hotel.

Formerly a beautiful and peaceful hotel with good service and amenities. Currently the property has deteriorated and it is at best terrible. After trying to contact management, with no response, they apparently have no plan to return the hotel to 5 star status

I love Wyndham hotels generally, this is run down and dirty, if you want a place to party, it is cheap and here, looks nice at the lobby, not when you get to the rooms. I have a family and we chose it for a quick stopover on our way through, not impressed. Make frequent trips from Detroit to Minnesota, will not be staying here again.

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit here. The staff was very helpful and kind. My daughter enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub, and the free breakfast every morning was awesome, way better than a regular Continental breakfast!

This hotel changed ownership semi recently and it has gone downhill! The rooms are sort of clean, but I wouldn't walk around without socks on. You can tell the new owners didn't replace a lot of the equipment that used to be there (i.e. One of the TV's in the suites are missing, so is the TV in the dining area). We arrived to find we only had 2 hand towels and 3 bottles of lotion and no shampoo. There was also no comforter on our bed. However, the I've bright spot was the new girl at the front desk (literally her first night working) - she got us everything we needed without questioning. Breakfast wasn't bad either. Pretty sure I won't stay here again. On a side note, it is in a nice little town.

Gross, smelly & dirty. Literally hookers down the hall. ALL the light bulbs in the pool were burned out & there was no chairs. There was a carpet laid out in the parking lot where long-term guests hung out, drank, smoked & cooked on a little Smoky grill.

Got there with my parents (three rooms total) and were informed that the TV was not working in our room. We were compensated for the trouble, so no worries there (and we really don't watch TV anyway). Got the keys to our room, got in there and it was dirty, so we went and got a new room that had smaller beds. We were told that housekeeping had ditched out early which is why the room hadn't been cleaned (and also if we needed anything to ask the front desk, as there was no housekeeping in the building). Room was clean and good the second time around, but the beds were very low quality and springy. Pool looked nice, although we didn't use it, and the continental breakfast was almost cleared out by the time we got there an hour after it had started, but the basics (cereal, milk, juice) were fine. My mother thought maybe the scrambled eggs were from dry powder. Overall it was an okay hotel.

My husband and I stayed here the night we got married, and we arrived to a room that had not been cleaned - think dirty linens, used towels, and other people's garbage. Not exactly the romantic setting we had hoped for on our wedding night.
Additionally, a friend of mine with two young children (who was a guest at the wedding) had reserved a room ahead of time, only to be told upon arrival that someone else had taken it. She had find another hotel 10 miles away at the last- minute.
Having blocked off rooms for our wedding night, there were a few times I made calls to the hotel. Rarely was the correct person available to help. This was the case when many of our guests called with questions.
I would not recommend the Baymont Inn - this place is poorly run and no one knows what they're doing. In all honesty, this place is a cluster-you-know-what. Save yourself the trouble and drive to Sun Prairie or Deforest.
