it's a super 8. better than alot of the ones I've stayed at where the manager's family lives in the hotel and he or his wife is in pajamas checking you in. big flat screens and a waffle maker, what else do you need? price fluctuates daily from $65 to $95 depending on how busy they are

The staff were very friendly. The rooms are nice and clean. Nice tv with a good amount of channel's. Good price too.

Rooms were nothing fancy but seemed clean. The air conditioning unit was noisy and made for a restless night sleep. The most disappointing part of our stay was the free continental breakfast. It was suppose to be open until 9a.m. but when we got there at 8:40, there were a couple of pre-packaged pastries and 2 apples. Everything else had been cleaned up/put away which explains why the attendant was visibly annoyed that we came in. Since this was our last experience as we checked out, this is what left a lasting impression. I would not recommend this hotel.

We had a terrific weekend visit to Sun Prairie. Our room was clean and functional, and was a reasonable value. Our only problem was the online reservation system, which I couldn't get to work on my mobile phone, so I used a computer instead, and still didn't see anywhere to change the number of guests from the default of "1 adult." But when we arrived, they still had rooms of multiple sizes available, so we were fine. The website concern is an issue for the whole hotel chain, not this location. This hotel is great, and they resolved our issue right away! Thanks!

Decently clean for the price, on par for a place like this. Pretty close to a nice downtown district and good place to book if your racing Trek CXC.

The only complaint i had was the carpet was a little dirty to have my grandson walk around in his bare feet on. The price and people were fantastic

Arrived at this hotel at midnight after we had confirmed our stay online earlier this afternoon. The parking lot had literally 3 vehicles in it, which was a RED FLAG right off the bat. Went in to check in and the hotel manager had no record of our reservation - even though I had it confirmed on my phone. He said not to worry - he had rooms available tonight (only 3 cars in parking lot - I'm sure one was his - so of course there was room).
THE PROBLEM:
He asked how many adults and children - to which I replied, "2 and 3". He looked up and said, "Sorry, you will need two rooms". REALLY?? For my 5, 4, and 2 year old who all fit in a queen size bed - he confirmed I wouldn't be able to stay in HIS hotel with my family in only one room.
SOLUTION:
I will never stay in a Super 8 again - even if I had free rooms for the rest of my life! First - the reservation did not communicate from the internet to the hotel. Second, and most importantly, my family will never be able to stay in the same room at a Super 8 hotel. Super 8 is NOT family friendly. They were a cheaper option for one room, but I'd gladly pay 3 times the price of their room and stay somewhere that will accommodate a family with 3 small children. Tonight we were accepted as a family at the Holiday Inn down the road. Their parking lot was full! Their hotel manager was very pleasant and professional. Holiday Inn is not the most fancy hotel chain around, but it is VERY clean and comfortable. AND, they will allow my whole family to stay in the same room.
With the policy of Super 8 and the unaccommodating/unprofessional attitude of the hotel manager I will never think of booking a stay at their hotel again. I will be sure to pass this along to family and friends. GP
