The stars do not represent the staff. The staff get 5 stars. They were very pleasant, helpful, and professional. The check in lady was awesome, and the the lady in the morning was just as awesome.
The rooms need to be cleaned better, as I found used food, wrappers around the beds, and a lot of fur.
The bathroom ceiling drywall in the tub area was falling down, so I skipped the shower. Just need to do some updating and repairs.
Other than that, everything else was great

The staff was nice enough to refund our money. We didn't stay long floors and walls were not cleaned. Used gum and food on the floors. Toothpaste and mascara on mirror and towels. Toilet not cleaned. Bathroom door would not close. Or open all the way.

House keepers don't clean whatsoever they should hire new ones. That's the major problem other than that it's nice just needs a good deep cleaning. Pool is green. Breakfast was clean and decent. All the outside doors don't lock which isn't safe. I checked in late, night shift girl chris was great very pleasant and helpful. Addressed all problems quickly. Day shift terri was also polite, her boyfriend and friends always were hanging around tho. Staff was awesome until a few days later at check out I met the rude morning shift and her even more unpleasant manager Dave.

Very nice place to stay. The front desk clerk was great. The motel was booked solid but she found one room she wasn't sure about and did a lot of checking and found the room was clean and available. Great job!

Rooms definitely need to be cleaned more thoroughly, I wound up cleaning my own room because staff couldn't do it right the second time even when I asked if the room could be cleaned! Owner of the hotel is very snippy and you can tell he's not a big fan of women. Other staff are very friendly and helpful ..if it wasn't for the price per night, I more than would have just walked out and got a room at a different Hotel.

I was very surprised and greatfull that the hot tub is out front and not in the bathroom. Staff was friendly very nice. Room was clean, they even have a DVD combo vhs hooked up in the room, Awesome! Even though we were 1/2 hr away from our daughter I still loved the old school feel of it. Until next time

Rooms are very clean and staff was very helpful. Free Continental breakfast ,heated pool, and washer and dryer on site for your convenience while you stay! Overall very nice ! Prices are very reasonable as well.

Rooms were very clean. Bathroom amenities were high level.

Breakfast was "perfunctory." Eggs were only warm and slightly overcooked or powdered.

Wonderful service from both Taniya and Marianne.

But those beds were hard. If you're really aiming for four star, pillowtop is the way to go. Not so here.

Front desk clerk at night named Tennille was awesome. My favorite person in the whole trip from Albuquerque to Ohio. We've stayed at this hotel many times and never had any issues. This time I think they need a little more attention to detail on the cleaning of the bathrooms. The air conditioning system in the room needed the filters cleaned as they were dirty and kind of stinky. Continental breakfast is so so. The eggs need to be changed out a little more often and the sausage was cold. I forgot I also needed to add that the outside doors do not lock when you close them so your keycard is unnecessary and your safety is at risk I hope they fix this we really enjoy staying at the Baymont and would like to come back but only if things are up to par.

Lots of deferred maintenance! Breakfast was rubbery sausage and powdered eggs (hot sauce couldn't save them). All tables were dirty and no thought of wiping them when staff checked "hot" items. Non-smoking rooms were obviously smoked in and not decontaminated. Three tries till found a room I could breath in. Bathroom floor loose tiles and chipped up grout. Pool murky and standing water on deck though no one had been in it. Room 220 at top of stairs door was always propped open - making one wonder! On the up side, sheets and towels seemed clean.

Service was/is always great this is not my first time staying there but the first time where the room was not up to par. I stayed in a room that had the Jacuzzi tub inside the room well it was still pretty dirty when we arrived(didn't notice at the time but after they cleaned tub the mirrors behind were dirty as well) The toilet needed to be clean as well but the strangest thing that(that I guess just could happen) is the door lock/card reader would not lock from inside or out we were told new batteries were needed. But all in all a great stay especially for the price and for Jacuzzi in room you get what you pay for but like I said the service to fix the issue came pretty swift but all in all a good stay still.

Stayed two weeks . The Staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel had a smell , it was the indoor pool. The parking lot is well lit. The breakfast was good for a Continental breakfast. The hotel is off the beaten path of traffic which was nice , it was quiet. The hotel is older however clean and comfy. Would stay again , can't beat the price. Happy Customers..

I received a room on the second floor. It was very nice, mostly clean other than the bathroom could have been a little cleaner. The staff was very friendly and it was affordable. It was a perfect location for me, between Akron and Cleveland as I had stopped there on the way home due to bad weather conditions. Very easy to get to.
