I was not sure what to expect going into the Bay Breeze Bed and Breakfast, as I had no experience in B&Bs. The website depicts a charming, southern, waterside experience. I was not disappointed. Upon arrival, I was regaled with the history of the establishment, courtesy of the host, Becky. She was very welcoming and approachable, as was her husband, Bill. The accommodations were comfortable and fashioned in a traditional southern style. I was especially impressed with the view from the pier, which was perfect for casting a net and appreciating the Mobile skyline. I would be remiss if I did not mention the breakfast, which was a true labor of love, served by Ms. Becky and her daughter, Judy. They were even kind enough to share a booklet that includes detailed recipes for their signature dishes. I was of course sent home with leftover muffins. I highly recommend to anyone seeking a flexible, yet pleasant bayside experience. My only caveat: some patrons may be disturbed by the hosts' enthusiastic (and friendly) dogs. As a "dog person," I enjoyed their company.

Charming hosts, wonderful location, picturesque views, beautiful landscaping, delicious breakfast. And the decor and rooms, like being in grandma's house. Really made us feel like we were staying with family. Their personal history is all around, what a delightful story they have. Will recommend to anyone traveling this way.

Me and my wife stayed at Bay Breeze for the weekend last August and had a amazing time. The hosts were more than welcoming and the house / property is relaxing and incredible. The B&B has a long dock / pier that shoots into the bay and has a outdoor kitchen (which the hosts give their breakfast on weekend mornings) and they also have a few other small breach-off dock sections that have lounge chairs to sit back and take all the bay has to offer. The B&B was about a 30 min drive to Gulf Shores beach area. There is also Fairhope Brewery there in town, which was a great place to spend the evening for tasting and they had a live band playing when we were there If you are thinking of spending a getaway here in the Gulf Shores region, do not pass up the opportunity to stay at the Bay Breezy B&B, you will not regret it.
