The suite was spotless and comfortable to stay in. Had exceptional customer service upon checking into the hotel. We were treated with the utmost respect during our stay. We got to enjoy putt putt golf for $6 a person and swam in the pools available. We did water slide racing and relaxed in the hot tub. They have a great arcade with reloadable cards so children don't have to run around with tokens!! I would recommend this lodge to anyone who wants a nice romantic getaway!!!

We had a wonderful time during our stay. The shuttle to the shops and restaurant was really useful since we were traveling with small children. We spent the first evening in the pool and riding the slides which are the perfect size and entertaining at any age. The second evening was spent in the fun center playing games and putt putting, it was a genuine good time for all! We will be back for sure.

We love staying there. Great staff, always friendly! My only complaint is around the food. Granted, I KNOW I AM a picky customer when it comes to quality of food, but there either needs to be better pricing for the food that is served on site or increase the quality of food for the same price. I realize this isn't an exact reflection on the hotel, however it is quite a concern since it is all within the same structure.

This is a cool hotel that has a lot of history while still feeling new and updated. Clean hotel and rooms. Friendly staff. Big wall mounted tv in room.
The pool and activities are good for family fun as well as couples trying to get away with an adults only pool.
Came here for a work conference in one of the river rooms. Nice atmosphere. Would love to come back again and spend time around time.response / report this review -

This was an amazing choice for my honeymoon. My husband and I had a great time. The staff was so friendly and awesome. The food was soooo good. I wanted to eat until I exploded. We had so much fun in the arcade and the pools. I would highly recommend staying here.

I stayed at the Bavarian Inn Lodge for two nights the first weekend of October 2017. The theme is good, and thoughtfully done, with many nice touches throughout the facility. The best word I have for the amenities is "average;" though, to be fair, some areas were closed for refurbishment during my visit (my review is based solely on what was open). The rooms were good-sized, but felt a bit dated (despite some updates, at the core, I was staying in a hotel room that had been laid out in the 1980s). The service was uneven, ranging from good (particular kudos to the room service staff) to wanting, and unfortunately tending toward the latter on balance. I was on the fence of whether to rate two or three stars, but, given the price point, I had higher expectations than what I experienced.

My wife had such a great time here for our anniversary we rented a suite everything was almost perfect. We had gotten an add on package (the romance package) it was great it came with a very good bottle of champagne and two keepsake glasses and a box of amazing chocolates it also came with a dinner voucher a breakfast voucher and a couples riverboat voucher. Dinner at omas was very good I have not had the opportunity to try breakfast yet but I'm sure it will be just as good. Now for the room service the food was good but they forgot to bring us our sodas and it took an additional 15 minutes for them to bring it up. I was pretty upset with the gentleman at the front desk because when we called to get the time for the riverboat ride we were told the last one was at 8pm but the last one was at 6:30 pm so we missed it and have to wait until the day we are leaving to go on it so I would suggest they find out the exact hours

Looking for a getaway? This is the place to go - my wife and I came last year and have been back three times since then. It is a wonderful facility and has all of the amenities on site. The kids absolutely love it and the customer service is top notch - thank you for providing an exceptional experience for my family - you guys are doing a great job!

Family tradition to stay every year. I just love this place. I wish we could stay longer because I still haven't had the chance to just look around the grounds. Rooms are cleanest rooms I have ever seen in any hotel. Staff is amazing and it's located in walking distance of everything downtown. Love it !

I have visited the Bavarian Inn Lodge many times for many years and am always pleased with the service and amenities. The rooms are always clean and well maintained with reasonably up to date fixtures and hardware. The staff are always friendly and helpful when you see them in the hallways and at the front desk. There is a cozy sit down restaurant and bar near the front desk and an arcade with a mini golf course and another bar and cafeteria style restaurant in the family fun center. There are three swimming pools and hot tubs, one pair is in an adults only area for a quieter pool experience. There are also two waterslides with the more central pool.

It was a nice stay at the hotel. The staff was all nice. We didn't use the pools or go to the fun center, but hope to in the future. It looked awesome.

In my life I've been here numerous times. It's a great place to be. Yes, things do occasionally change here. So i do miss some of the nostalgic older stuff they got rid of, but my friends and I always enjoy ourselves here. If you have a family, are a couple, or single you'll have fun here. Prices vary throughout the seasons, but are mostly lower cost in the year. Basically everything about this place feels good. I never get bored here, just really tired from a day there. Lol.

Old ski loved style building. I didn't see a lot of it as the conference room I was in was right inside. Seemed nice. Restrooms were clean, parking lot and grounds well kept. It's close to downtown so lots to go do if you'd stayed there. I would probably go back if I need a room in Frankenmuth.

We have absolutely loved our stay. Everything is very clean and the staff is very friendly. The kids had a blast and didn't want to leave the pools. We ate at two of the restaurants at the inn and it was delicious. We also enjoyed many of the nearby shops and the walk over the covered bridge. Definitely plan to come back.
