This is the platonic ideal greasy spoon. Burgers were incredible, massive menu with just about anything you could want. Shakes, fries, vegetarian options. I wish it was in Chicago proper, I'd go there every month.

Kind of stumbled upon this place after a Northwestern football game. The most important thing to know is portions are enormous and prices are higher than what most people expect from a sports bar. However, my burger was fantastic and everyone else in our party enjoyed theirs too. Service was good for being immediately after a game and the waitress had a good sense of humor!

Super friendly staff and amazing food. We've had sandwiches & salads and all were fresh and delicious. They also serve breakfast (I think all day) which I'll need to try at some point! Great beer list as well.

Amazing beer selection, generous sized burgers and sandwiches. Beer towers. Salads. Sides. Nachos! Also serves brunch. Bat 17 also has a pool bar next door. Definitely an Evanston establishment!

Great casual sandwich place in Evanston. Huge portions and large list of craft beers. The bar seating area is quite cramped so those that don't like getting cozy may prefer a table. The prices are on the higher end hence 4 star rating. 33 dollars for a chicken sandwich and 2 beers is a bit much.

I would have gave this place 5 stars because the food is amazing! But we drove all the way here for the food and pool hall and they do not have pool tables like advertised! They should change their website and let people know that they no longer have pool tables available

Came hungry, left full. Burger was above average, sweet potato fries good, and local IPA beer good as well. No shortage of sports on TV. Both White Sox and Cubs on at the same time. Nice!

Quality food. Wide assortment of quality brews. Attentive service. Friendly atmosphere. When it's busy, acoustics could be better, but that's more of an observation and not a complaint.

One of my favorite spots for lunch. Almost always get the chicken salad sliders and basket of sweet potato fries. Bathrooms are HILARIOUS! Many a hot sauces to choose from if it's your thing!

The burger had every taste to the tenth degree. savory, moist, crunchy, and sweet I am still shocked at how much we loved it over some of our favorite chi-town places! DEFINITELY coming back!!!!

The portion sizes at Bat 17 are ridiculous in the best possible way. If it's your first visit, and you feel like ordering any of their sandwiches, I advise you order half a sandwich. They also have plenty of local beers on tap. There are two sides to the place. One is more suited for lunch, while the other has pool tables and is more suited for dinner.

A great vibe for a great burger. The patty was really delicious and huge. Sports were playing on the screens. -1 star only because the K2 burger i had was a bit too big to get through and needed some sauce. Definitely worth the visit
