Hands down our favorite place to eat in Westwood. We're here from out of town and we ate here on our first night in town and I had a foot long REAL Nathan's hot dog (I'm from NY originally and haven't seen a Nathan's in years so I was very excited to have that!) which was delish and it came with a nice side of fries. Hubby had the chili and liked it. The inside of the restaurant is VERY noisy and crowded because the world series games were on so we sat outside which was very nice, but the seating is very uncomfortable (very tall benches and seats). Waitresses are super nice and very accommodating and attentive. Last night was our last night here and we ate there again and sat outside. I had the baby back ribs which were meaty and delicious and came with cole slaw, and hubby had a Mexican platter with a few different things on it and he enjoyed it also. They have a very diverse menu, definitely something for everyone. Our waitress was super nice and I had mentioned that I'm having open heart surgery and it was my last meal before I have to start a crash diet prior to the surgery and she gave us pumpkin pie on the house, which was really sweet of her. We love Barney's Beanery so much that we each bought a t-shirt to take home with us. If we're ever in town again we'll definitely be back. We'll miss Barney's Beanery!!

Everything was kind of bland. The wait staff looks like they dislike being there. But the bathroom is the biggest embarrassment. It's down a flight of stairs in the back of the restaurant and you walk down a creepy, poorly lit hallway and past kegs.

The menu here is a catch all of bar food. Nothing to write home about It's a great place to watch a sports game there isn't a wall without a TV on it. The night we went service was really slow. We had to look twice for the waitress. On the upside they split checks three was no problem.

Lunchtime at Barnery's has been an occasional place for me being that I work in the area. You will not find a busy crowd at the time and the service is great and fast. It is interestingly a popular place for the professional working men around the area from what I've experienced.
Barney's is known for the breakfast and that is what I always get no matter the time of day I am here. I love getting the Huevos Rancheros with the eggs scrambled. It is a significant serving amount that I never finish, especially with all the beans and rice that come with it. I like to substitute the beans and rice with a side salad to limit all those carbs that make me wish I could take a nap in my office. The sauce on the eggs is excellent! This is one of my favorite breakfast dishes here.
I've been here after work and for sporting events since hey have so many TVs. It certainly gets fuller during those times and lots of beer and drinks to choose from. Plenty of space to sit downstairs and upstairs. There is a 2hr free parking lot across the street or meter parking in the area.
I might get adventurous and start trying some of the other breakfast items next time around.response / report this review -

I love this bar. It's always lively, has a great ambience and has a spot for everyone. There's the more quite tables outside for catching up with a friend in the nice weather, the booths for the standard bar scene, the second floor bar seats looking over the space with some vintage decorations and the separate area for a party. I love that they regularly have karaoke too!

Finally a great tasting taco place in Alhambra!!! I'm not a fish taco kind of person but when we got here they looked amazing and they tasted as amazing as they looked!!! I can't wait to try the rest of the menu!!!

Came here for happy hour a few weeks back. Finally, a sports bar in Los Angeles! I loved the vibe. The drinks were decently priced. Only thing I'd improve is that the happy hour food offerings were all way heavier and more fried than they needed to be. The buffalo cauliflower was so caked in batter you could hardly tell what it was in the first place. Overall, I'll be back because I've been trying to find a good place to watch a game over happy hour, but I'll be more discerning with my food choices. The regular menu food looked great.

Three starts is what a bar like this should always get. its a divey sports bar in a college town. the food is ok the service is ok and the beer selevction is pretty good. its a good place to watch games but alse the set up is a little weird so it makes it difficult for groups.

Favorite bar in Westwood. The atmosphere is fun, inviting, and communal. Doesn't feel like a place people go to hook up or party, more of a spot to grab a beer and appetizers with a good friend or two.

I had the spinach salad with lemon chicken added - AMAZING. The goat cheese was perfect, lemon balsamic was delicious. Large was enough to take a third home for later. My husband had the burger - mashed potatoes a bit too thin - but great burger. We had three different servers it seemed; a pet peeve of mine in such a small cafe atmosphere.. Good thing the food was worth it!

THE BEST! How do they make any money selling their ice cream sandwiches for only $2! The line might be long but it moves fast. Make sure you look at the options so you can order quickly when you get to the front of the line. Cash only place so bring a few bucks.
