Food is great. It's a little noisy inside, but the acoustics are a bit better at the bar. Service is outstanding. Brunch is delicious & a fantastic deal but the menu seldom changes. Would love it if they'd spice it up a bit since we've been going there for brunch every couple of months for years.

Best Steak I've ever had. Everything from the salad to top of the line steak tastes superb. Service is fantastic as well. Pricey, but absolutely worth every penny.

I went for the first time tonight the food was excellent. When we arrived we were asked if we had a reservation and we didn’t but they still serve us and we had a table within minutes. The staff is great our server made us feel welcomed and had answers for all of our menu questions. We are definitely going back thanks to All at this place

Great food. Good service. The place was a little loud, but well worth the food. We had the jumbo crab cake appetizer, that was absolutely delicious. For the main course sword fish and scallops, served on a bed of asparagus with mashed potatoes mmmm so good. Will definitely be back on our next trip.

The brisket was one of the best I ever had. The customer service was excellent. This pace was really cool and operates with the customers first. It was really nice to find such a great place.

Just had another GREAT meal at Black Angus. The 5 times I've eaten at this place I've had, literally, the 5 best steaks I've ever eaten. This last visit I had the porterhouse - DELICIOUS. SO GOOD. The cocktails? Fantastic. My wife and I had a great meal. So why did I only write a 3 star-review? The host (big bald guy) might be the rudest person I've ever met. Sure, he seems nice when you walk in. Shakes your hand and takes you to your table. Then you get to listen to him berate his staff the rest of the night. I'm assuming this guy is also the owner - if he is - what a terrible way to treat your employees. Speaking sharply at all his staff and cursing at them. VERY rude. What makes it worse is that patrons can hear him! I don't know how employees don't just walk out constantly.

To Summarize: GREAT Food. GREAT Drinks. TERRIBLY rude host/owner. MISTREATED employees.

The host was a bit snippy however the waitress was very pleasant. The appetizer was good but the food was fairly bland. The restroom was disguising! Paper towels on the floor, stalls with no paper products and what looked like dirty river water in the toilets!

My wife and I dined there for the first time last Friday. We had a reservation and was escorted to our table immediately. The waiter was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable . He made some nice suggestions on drinks and entrees and we couldn't have been happier. The place had a good vibe. My advice is to have a reservation and you will not be turned away at the door.

My favorite restaurant in the greater Danbury area. The menu is diverse and I have never been disappointed with a meal.

The service is excellent. The owner routinely greets guests at the door and treats everyone like an old friend who has been visiting for years.

The food is excellent, especially the higher up in price you go. Brunch specials are nice, big portions all around. The owners are very friendly and extremely invested in the experience of their customers. Nice decor, and really cool bar. The waitstaff can be hit or miss though

I recently had Black Angus cater our work holiday party and was beyond impressed. Karen was wonderful to deal with. Since this was my first time hosting an event for 80 people, it was so great working with someone who could make recommendations and "hold my hand" through the process. Karen made everything so easy and was always easy to get in touch with. Not only that, but the food was AMAZING and reasonably priced. Every single employee raved about the food. You have to try the Cod over mashed potatoes ;) Black Angus provided everything from forks & knives to serving spoons and sodas. Even the gentleman who delivered the food was super helpful in the setup and even shared a tip about how to make the sternos last longer. I would HIGHLY recommend using Black Angus to cater your next event or even to enjoy one night for dinner.
