One of cheapest and best hotel in this neighbour hood close to beach.
It's a roof over your head, and it's in a great spot. If you're looking for a place to crash and shower it's fine. If you're looking for a place with amenities look elsewhere.
The reality is you get what you pay for - and the hotel is one of the less expensive options in the area. The location is great - on the beach and near the Cliff Walk.
Other than that it's pretty bare bones, and it was little things that kind of soured the experience. The wind off the water was really loud in the front room due to the hallway, which acted like a wind tunnel. Wireless was out, and efforts to fix wasn't successful. Coffee ran out and was never replaced. And when I asked the front desk to for change of a $20 (for the maid) there was no cash to do it.
False advertising they tell you they have a pool but they don't tell you it's across the street at another hotel. They advertise breakfast which is also across the street. The rooms are so so lots of shotty repairs and dated. I wouldn't recommend this place at a 'll for the price 60 bucks a night would be more of what it's worth
Picked this hotel because of good reviews. Got here and checked in. WiFi down and no one knew what to do. Didn't let us know until we called a 2nd time. Fan in bathroom so loud I didn't turn on the light so I wouldn't have to use it.
One of the worst hotels that I've ever stayed. Rooms r disgusting and dirty!! Front desk people r rude. No wifi!!!! OVERPRICED. Not fit for an animal to stay!!!!! Going to contact my credit card company to get my money back!!!😡😡😡
We got the cottage for four people and it was accommodating for the price we paid through Hotwire. Nothing over the top, just a comfortable room to stay over night. Not far from the downtown area as well.
Pool is across the street at another hotel. If you're going to advertise a pool as an amenity I don't expect to have to cross a street and go to the Comfort Inn. Why not just go there instead. Also can't connect to Wi-Fi as another reviewer said.
It's a suite with 2 king beds in separate rooms, nice water views of the inlet lake, and covered parking for a bargain price! Wifi didn't work, pillows are undersized, towels are worn, rooms are dated and need TLC, and breakfast is paltry.
I had a pretty good time. The rooms are big, clean a d spacious. The employees were nice, and i had no problems while I was there. There was also a nice view in one of the rooms and the rooms were bigger than I expected for what I paid.
The complimentary breakfast was a joke and the oj tasted spoiled. The room was fine, also clean.
The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. There's evidence that the hotel rooms have been used fairly hard, our shower curtain rod was barely hanging on to the wall. The "fitness center" is a treadmill, an elliptical and a recumbent bike machine.
