They had my car for two days and didn't work on it. then they wanted it a third day I told them no, I'm picking up my car. One thing they had to do was a recall. on the phone the service writer said it was done when I went to pick it up she lied and said it was not done. I have never had such poor service in my life at Art Hill Ford. When I talked to her boss he didn't seem to care. I will not go back there and I am seeking other action. You can't keep someone's car for 2 days and it just sits in their lot. No apology whatsoever. I made the appointment 1 week before. If they didn't have time for my car they should have called me and told me to make another appointment. They also didn't give me a loaner car. The service manager said don't you have insurance for that? So not sure if they finished my recall or not? I did not want to post any stars but it would not let me complete this.
I feel taken advantage of because I'm a woman. Frazier was great, but finance person just seemed shady. Should've walked away. How do you offer a 2016, with only 6,500 miles, and no original warranty? The 3 yrs or 36,000 mile warranty should still be in affect, as well as manufacturer warranty of 5 yrs. And how do you not offer, accidental death & disability insurance? Salesman Frazier was a dream to work with, but finance lady was shady. She even nodded her head to the salesmen all in a booth, like we got one. 6,500 no satellite radio and no dealership warranty, when it was clearly marked on car, before purchase. RUN DON'T WALK LADIES.
A couple of things I want to say because I had a really bad experience. One was when my glove box handle broke I took it in to get it replaced. They told me they had to order the part before we could set up an appointment. That was fine, what was not fine that 2 months passed and they never called me saying my part was in. I had to call them for them to tell me my part was in. So I set up an appointment to get it fixed. I take it in and they fix it and cone out and tell me my cars ready and that's it. About 2 months later I go to Chicago and park my car and was going to lock my weapon and valuables in the glove box. Come to find out when they replaced the glove box they never put in the locking part. I take it back in and tell them all this. They said they no longer make the part and I told them well no one told me that when they fixed it. They talked to their manager and then called me and told me if I wanted the locking glove box I would have to purchase the glove box my self and pay them to put it in. I told them to go to hell because it's their fault that this happened. Second thing was that my wife's car had a recall on it and I called them to get it fixed. They said the parts where on back order and they would call us when they came in. That was 4 months ago and still no call. I'm glad it's not life threatening or they would be hearing from a lot more people than just me. So my advice is to stay away from this scam of a car dealer. Go somewhere else because it's not worth the headaches.
We looked at several used Lincoln’s advertised there. Steve the salesman was very friendly and no high pressure. We were interested in two. They went on and on about how great our trade was and that it was obvious we took great care of it. In the next sentence they only offered the trade in value on the high end of fair condition. I looked it up on kbb myself and they undershot us by two grand. They would not budge on the sale price of the car..not even an inch. They would not budge even 500 dollars to make the sale. Then instead of trying to make the sale they all shut down and became dismissive. No manager even bothered to come sit and talk to us. So they let a 30,000 sale go for 500 dollars on our trade.
My husband and I drove 3 hours (due to horrible traffic) to go look at a used Mazda CX-5 we saw online from Art Hill. The sales rep, Steve, sent me lots of pictures and answered all of my questions prior to us driving there to ensure us that the drive would be worth it. We got there only a half hour before they closed but they did not try to rush the sale. Steve, the manager, Doug, and the Finance Rep, Alex, all stayed late for us. They were extremely helpful and great to us. So far we love the vehicle and are very happy with our purchase! I would definitely buy from them again!
I recently purchased a mustang here and notice a botched patch on the rear quarter panel. After looking into it there is two police reported accidents on the vehicle when the explicitly told me it was not in any accidents. While the people here were helpful with selling me the car I am quite dissapointed that they would lie to me and sell me a less than quality patch on a vehicle.
Art hill used to be good, now not so much. They treat you like gold when buying a vehicle but when it has issues, forget about it. I will drive extra miles now to use a different ford dealership. They are not good with customer service, calling and letting you know what’s going on, and getting a rental is apparently like cussing in church! They look at you all wide eyed like you are crazy.
Extremely poor quality of service. My work truck was having some issues and this was the closest ford dealer so my boss had me take it there. Not only did they charge probably 5x what it really should have cost to correct the issue they also just didn't do half of the things they said they did in the paperwork they gave back to me. For example, their paperwork said all 4 tires were at factory recommended pressures and when I checked them after picking it up not a single one was at the right pressure. They couldn't even read the odometer correctly because in their paperwork it says the truck is well over a MILLION miles when in reality it is hardly over 100k. My opinion is that they saw the fact that I was driving a work truck, wasn't the decision maker/financier, and would have no say in what maintenance would be performed. They communicated with my boss about what work to do and how much it would cost and they wrung him for a couple hundred more dollars than what it should have been and didn't bother to do even a halfway decent job covering their tracks.
I made my oil change appt online which is very convenient, especially the later than normal hours. I was greeted promptly when I arrived. There is a nice waiting area. My car as finished in about a half hour.
I have been buying from Art Hill for a while now and I love it. I always go to the same person who will always go out of the way to help me. I have been to other dealerships and felt like I was being taken advantage of because I am a woman. There was only one other place that treated me as well as you and they closed but I see you have a few of those employees. Thank you for always making me feel important but most of all equal.
The whole experience was great. They didn't have the inventory I was looking for but Alex was nice. He called me first when what I was looking for came on the lot. It was hassle free and easy.
Update: They held my title for over 45 days. Never called or mailed it in. I had to pick it up and go to bmv and pay for title transfer and plates. Not sure what the tax title and fee was that they charged me for.
I don't know what kind of scam they are pulling by charging a fake tax on warranty deductibles. I would rather spend the extra gas to go to another dealership than get ripped off $7 every time I come in for a warranty repair. Which means the dealership I go to from now on will also get my non warranty work. Enjoy the 7 bucks
Love my visit to art hill. Very attentive. All employees very concerned nice constantly asking if I needed anything. Kept me aware of what was going on. Will return to art hill in future for vehicle purchase.
Instead of Fusion went with more affordable Ford Focus. The professional care of Art Hill staff was outstanding. I even got a free ham sandwich and chips while waiting. I am happy with my new Ford Focus lease. My fiancee really loves the car.
This company has given me the worst runaround I've ever experienced. They charged me a hundred dollars for titling fees and they never did it. I've tried to get a hold of them since January and they apparently are incapable of filing basic paper work I PAID THEM FOR. You're better off going to a different dealership and finding a quality organization to buy from.
