Much better than expected. If you're traveling on I-75, you must take a pit stop here. Our family with young kids had an enjoyable time. There are some great artifacts here, and very well-presented.
perfect museum for a rainy day. Has undergone renovations since I last visited. Now has a more modern look.
Such a great museum! Only $8 per adult and tickets for everyone else are even cheaper. Plus, the museum had lots of great exhibits and information, as well as several hands on things to do.
Awesome place. The guide was great and was very knowledgeable on everything we asked. Had a great time!
Great historical muesuem with several interactive exhibits. The exhibits and displays are very informative and the staff is very helpful and attentive, offering further insite into much of the material presented.
While family friendly, there is not a lot to do for young kids. There are, however, a few simulators, a good gift shop and a nice park (Veterans Park) nearby.
This is one of those destinations to go if the history of space flight is already of keen interest. I do think see this as a place that would spark a new interest.
There are a couple interactive exhibits, and for the younger kids, that is what is important.
It is definitely worth a one-time visit.
Wonderful artifacts including the real Gemini 8 capsule flown by Armstrong. Extremely enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff, they've got their rocket science down pat. Great for space junkies and great for any old tourist, too!
Nice little museum about Neil Armstrong and his career with NASA. Some exhibits are a bit dated but this place is still very educational. I like the architecture of the museum building - very unique. This museum is a great place to take elementary age children. The gift shop is aimed at kids too. There is a place outside for picnics. There is also the usual fast food offerings right in front of it.
Clean facility. Great staff. Love the museum. Would visit again!
A regular field trip experience. Totally worth the 3.5 hour drive to see the kids and adults enjoy the experience.
A Great place for kids & Adults . It could use a kick in the idea's department, maybe an observatory or a traveling science exhibit?
A must see place for an aviation/space lover. It's not a large museum but what it does offer it offers well. You can see and touch many things here. I wouldn't recommend coming here from way out of your way unless you plan on seeing more. Down the highway you'll find the Dayton area with all of its aviation heritage so make a weekend trip out of the entire area and you'll absolutely love it.
The place hasn't changed much since I first went twenty some-odd years ago, but it's still pretty neat! They've added a few simulator-ish games and the exhibits are well maintained. If you're interested in space or want to see just how primitive the gear was when we went to the moon, stop by and check it out!
