Great place. Clean, educational to I feel it was geared for children 6 yrs of age and under. Very small. We walked through the whole place in less than an hour.

This is a pretty neat muesum that is geared towards children. That being said I still enjoyed it, but wished I had gone on a weekday.

This place is great. I've been here multiple times and I get a different experience each time! They are renovating one of their activities upstairs and it looks to be promising. To see that they are still making renovations leads me to believe this place will only become greater. Pricing is decent. Only downfall is not being able to purchase food. Overall great place for family and field trips.

We visit Boonshoft often so my experience may be different than a one time visit (If one time I would say 5 stars awesome museum because truly it is really great) There are many pros: I Love the bird watching area, the imagination areas with pizza making, recycling center etc. I love that you can bring your own food for lunch (there is no food served there) The man that does the Sky tonight shows is wonderful and very knowledgeable. Cons: I'm not in love with the newly remodeled kids area and think they could have done so much more with it. The water tables are just okay and the play area with climbing really isn't much fun for smaller kids. We will still continue to have a membership for the time being as I like the financially support the museum so they can continue to improve it.

Excellent place to bring the kids. It is by far one of the coolest museums for kids I've been to. Definitely better than the Cincinnati Kids Museum, albeit smaller. They have live animals, including a boa constrictor, for kids to see, and a wide range of desiccated animals, from bugs to reptiles, so that kids and adults can see and study them up close. The different exhibitions teach kids really neat stuff about almost everything; from hydrodynamics to electricity, from sound to law, from veterinary medicine to recycling. It's a great way to tire out that over-energetic toddler while having them learn and explore new interests.
