I brought a group of 25 to the Ark for a corporate offsite. My team was amazed at the location, the house, and the detail of care that was taken for this property. The place simply was amazing and we didn't want to leave.
The owner, Jeff, was always happy to help and answer any questions and he has thought of a lot of things in advance to make sure you have a perfect stay.
The nice thing about this location is you feel like you are away from everything, but if you do "need" something then you are only 15min away from a store.
I would highly recommend any group that is looking for comfort, convenience, and attention to detail to consider staying at the Ark! You won't be disappointed!response / report this review -

The Ark is a fantastic place for a retreat. It's beautiful and has plenty of space for community activities as well as places to get alone time. We enjoyed the water (lake, pool and hot tub). The grounds are gorgeous - we spent the days walking the beach, playing beach volleyball and swinging in the tree swings. At night we hung out by the fire pit and watched movies in the theatre. Cannot wait to come back!

I've spent time here for both corporate and personal functions and it serves both purposes so well. In addition to the beautiful setting and all the outdoor things to do and enjoy, the home itself is a delightful treat. Plenty of space to gather as a group or break off for more intimate conversations. A home theater too! It feels like being a treasured guest in an amazing home.

I cannot say enough incredible things about The Ark!! I recently spent a week there during a retreat and had the most delightful time. The home itself is absolutely gorgeous and very homey. From sitting on the couch with my coffee in the morning, looking out as the fog rises on the lake, to snuggling up watching a movie in the indoor theatre – you’ll never want to leave. The outdoors is magical as well! I spent the days kayaking, jumping of the dock, flipping on the in ground trampoline, and hiking around the property. Plus, we spent the nights having bonfires and rejuvenating in the hot tub. I will most definitely be back!!!

I had the opportunity to stay at The Ark the previous week and it was incredible! There was plenty of room to lounge and spend time relaxing by the lake as well as multiple amenities including a pool, hot tub and trampoline to jump in(on). The owners were so sweet and came by to check on us to make sure we had everything we need. It was such a blessing to feel like everything I needed was there and I did not have to worry about wanting for anything. The lake gave a peaceful setting to love and laugh with one another. Thank you for allowing us to stay!

An enchanting and wondrous place. We were there for a family reunion with 30+ people ranging in age from 2 to 75. There was always something for everyone. This house manages to be both beautiful and comfortable. The kitchen is very well prepared to both cook for and serve large groups of people. I can not say enough positive remarks. The owner is also delightful and accommodating.

Our family has spent many enjoyable week ends there. So much to do, fully equipped, and beautiful views of Lake Lanier. The owner and his wife go beyond the reasonable expectations to make it beautiful and functional when we arrive. I highly recommend this to any group or family that wants a WOW experience.

Ark on Lake Lanier is truly a special place. It's not everyday that you're blessed with an environment where you can both stretch your legs, and nestle yourself in a cozy room to read a good book in privacy. Considering this lake house mansion sleeps over 40 people, with a huge deck, two story dock, movie theater, pool, and a full sized beach volleyball court??? I mean Common! My experience with The Ark will definitely go down as a blissful moment in my life.

5 stars yes! What an amazing home!! I brought my company here for a weekend getaway! 37 people fit no problem! The house was loaded with tons of things to do! The owner Jeff is on top of everything! He checked in with me during our stay which was fantastic! Jeff even sent over someone to fill our gas tanks for our jet skis and boats! Anything we needed he would have expedited for us! Top notch service! I recommend this to anyone especially large groups. I'm pretty sure we could have fit 30 more people! Thank you for a great stay Jeff and please put us down for next year same time !

This was our second stay at The Ark. The second stay was even better than the first. The Ark is perfect for an "in-town get away." We live in the Atlanta area so we did not need to travel far for a unique vacation experience. The owners are so friendly and welcoming. We will be back for stay number three.

Words can’t express how amazing our stay was at The Ark this past weekend! We enjoyed EVERY aspect of the house: the trampoline, volleyball court, theatre, pool, frisbee golf course, kitchen, ping-pong table, fire-pit, porches…the list goes on-and-on-and-on. The introverts in our crowd had space to “get away” and the extroverts had PLENTY of activities to constantly be enjoying together. We were all so blown away by how beautiful everything was, from the decor to the landscaping. Someone mentioned to me, “This place feels like a home…definitely not a rental property.” For a number of our attendees from our neighborhood, this was their first opportunity to be at a “lake house” and it was such a treat to see how excited they were to have an opportunity to relax and enjoy such a wonderful place. I can't recommend this place highly enough!!

We had 5 families with 10 adults and 16 kids over 3 full days. It was a blast for everyone with lots to do. From the trampoline to the pool, disc golf and volleyball, great kitchen for big meals and lots of bedrooms. Internet worked great as did the Sonos for tunes while having a bonfire. Couldn't have asked for a better venue.

One must only enter through the doors of The Ark to realize this is a magical place. One can loose themselves with the many rooms that are in this resort. You may need to bring a beeper to find the rest of your group.
Each room is different with appointments to make you feel right at home. The location is perfect for each activity that your heart would desire. If you want to make memories this is the place!response / report this review -

Another amazing stay at The Ark! Although this place is huge, it still pulls of a very homey, cozy feel. From every room in the house to the landscaping & view, everything is exquisite! Ideal place to host a large group of people. There are many rooms and spaces to get away and hide if your needing some quiet time. I just attended another magnificent celebration at the Ark, and the venue NEVER disappoints! It is guaranteed to bring out the most uplifting and joyous of spirits! The owners are amazing hosts, and assure you have EVERYTHING you need for MAXIMUM enjoyment! It is the PERFECT place to share wonderful experiences and bring people together. Always fun, always A+++.
