The owner was very decent and professional. The guide Ali was very good and you want to have an experienced person like her in your group, especially if you are a first time rider. My recommendation is to make sure that that you get a little description in the beginning on how to correctly handle the horse (steering, stopping, etc.), especially if this is your 1st time, and to make sure that if your group is larger than 4 people that you have more than 1 experienced guide taking you and that they bring along a first aid kit. Also, I recommend that if there are any hornets nest within the trail, that these be burned as these can "spook" the horses.

A fun ride up and around the mountain. Staff was good and friendly. We went with two adults and 3 kids aged 6, 7, and 9. It was my daughter's favorite part of our trip to NC.

So much fun.Beautiful ride through the mountains. The owner was very nice and funny, a real cowboy. This was my first time riding, horses were very clam. Ride was just over an hour. Price was very fair for the experience.

My family and I have been going there for three or four years in a row now and we still have a blast every time. The views are amazing and the horses are beautiful! The family that runs the farm is also very nice and funny. Definitely recommend them to everyone.
