I hired Ariston to install a brand new ducted heat pump to replace a wall heater in my home as it was being remodeled. They came back with a competitive quote, and they were able to get heating ducts into a part of my home that some other installers said wouldn't be possible. Their installers did very high quality work, and were able to do so within a week of my signing the contract.
It's been just over a year, and I've been very pleased with the heat pump system they installed, especially with the ever-climbing PG&E gas rates. I've recommended them to a few other folks who are replacing their HVAC systems, and would definitely hire them again if I am ever in need of additional HVAC work.response / report this review -

Highly recommend Ariston. They schedule out work quickly and have very fair pricing. They can handle complex problems and are will also assist with the smaller jobs. Love this team!

Can't recommend Ariston and highly enough! Alekos and his team designed and installed air conditioning at my house and I am so impressed with the result and the level of service. He and his team did a truly professional job, in record time, and with comprehensive follow up.

Ariston did an excellent job. They moved our HVAC system into the attic, re-piping the natural gas line and re-wiring the electricity in the process. The system works well and the work was done expertly. As important, the team was extremely professional and well mannered.

Our last big upgrade for our home that we’ve been waiting on was to go with a ducted heat pump with zoning. I love Mitsubishi units and wanted someone who was certified to repair and install these units. I am a specialty plumbing contractor and believe this is one of the most critical factors in choosing anyone to install a piece of high end equipment like this.
The crew was very open to my requirements of how I wanted the system installed, zoned and wired. There wasn’t any animosity or resistance to anything I mentioned, just good communication. Youcef knows his stuff and took his time on the details. There were minor things that I asked them to change such as duct routing, adding a larger air filter, mounting the outdoor unit on rubber equipment support blocks as opposed to a plastic pad and even installing a drain hose to put condensation from the outdoor unit into the ground to keep the concrete around it dry.
When remodeling our home, I wired the new zones with 18/6 tstat wire as opposed to 18/8 or greater to take advantage of 2 stage cooling and heating. Luckily Youcef figured out a powered solution which prevented the nightmare of having to run 100+ feet of tstat wire to a very hard to reach place.
Our home is balanced now and is extremely comfortable in every room as opposed to the cold spots we were so used to. The system is extremely quiet on the inside and the outside.
When it comes to price, it was not cheap, it took 7 full days or so to get everything hooked up along with quite a bit of material. In the end it wasn’t a whole lot more than a basic high efficiency gas furnace which sealed the deal. Ariston was priced out similarly to other certified installers in the area. We did however get a quote for 10k above Ariston from a local well known company for the same equipment. However they wanted more for permitting and duct testing which should be included for a job of this magnitude.
Lastly Michael was great, fast to respond and even dropped off space heaters for us to hold us over until the system was complete.
