The staff is really patient and helpful. I'm here close to Christmas and they are all so calm and patient with everyone. JT was extremely helpful and reassuring whilst helping me with my computer. And Ryan is so great with guests and getting them checked in and taken care of.

Robert was excellent. He got straight to the point and solved our problem get Apple Care for our new MacBooks we bought from Fort Sam Houston Post Exchange early that morning. We were tight schedule to get back on base. He made it happen, even though he was obviously tired from serving many others before we got there at 1315.

Since your forced updates to my phone: The battery went from idling 24 hours to 4 (not even long enough to have my alarm wake me up in the am), touch ID failed, and VM quit. Oh, y’all fixed the voicemail… I’m insulted by this update after buying an iPad Pro a month ago. If this is the new business practice I will not buy apple from this point on. I’m livid. Don’t try to tell me it’s the battery and touch ID sensor. I’m not a moron.

Didn't wait long for help but the very nice person who helped me didn't seem to know much about the product. When I made my purchase she gave me no bag to carry it through the mall. She said they ran out! Seriously, whoever manages this store should not be running out of bags. It's a simple thing. Glad I didn't buy anything more expensive.

I have never been to a place where they said "it'll be 10 minutes" to get checked in before I have to talk to someone else about getting checked in again and 45 minutes later they are still saying "wait 10 more minutes" and the original 4 people in line ahead of me were still in line ahead of me and they too haven't been seen. Its lunch time on a Friday, and there is no one there available to talk to or help out. I don't understand how at prime time you are so understaffed and negligent. Some of the employees were kind and greeted me, but when I approached the person who they instructed me to talk to, that person was rude and dismissive and they never followed up. They simply left the building (guy in the green hat as he was referred to me as). There was no conscious effort to keep a specific time table. There was no official standing to see where a person was in the queue present and visible. There were only people standing around watching the walls or holding earbuds in their ears pretending to be occupied. And I know you don't hold your ear that long as if you're trying to hear something when you're in an isolated corner of the building and there is no noise around you. You aren't apart of the secret service here. In addition, you would think logically that there is a guarantee that someone (like me) is going to crack their screen. So it should make sense that you have a designated line for us to approach and get our stuff handled. I even offered to leave my phone there at 1 pm until I got off work at 5/5:30 pm and pay ahead of time without paperwork being filed and they told me "another 10 minutes and you'll be seen". Child's play of a place without clear organization. Whoever is manager, clearly either is in the back, at lunch, or incompetent and needs to be replaced. If you are buying a new product or getting information transferred to an updated piece of technology, I can understand the time it takes to get all that done and set-up; however, if it's my cracked screen and all you have to do is write paperwork and take my phone, and I come back at a later time the same day, that should be the most rudimentary thing in the world. Step 1: sign me in. Step 2: verify warranty Step 3: identify payment amount Step 4: take phone. Step 5: check to make sure there is no water damage. There is nothing complicated about that in my opinion. And yes, to all the keyboard warriors out there, I came without a reservation and yes I was a walk-in and yes this is the rant of an inconvenienced person, but still there is some level of truth in this. Who wouldn't have an express lane for cracked screens? Is the training for becoming an Apple Technician too complicated for people today? Are they not hiring enough people to work at any given moment? At least a restaurant gets the concept of rush hour = more employees need to be on hand to handle the "RUSH". Pardon the rant, it comes from a good place however I cannot stand unprofessional establishments. If you see people just sitting there for more than 20 minutes, then go check on them and ask if they are alright. Make my wait, in the slightest, less terrible. I should go back to Android. Fin.

Came in on a Sunday, looking to buy an iPhone 6s. Store was packed, but I only waited five minutes to be seen. Employees were friendly and helpful. I will be returning to this Apple Store for my future purchases.

    Update 8/4/2017:

I came in today by appointment because my Mid-2012 Macbook Pro was displaying a service battery notification. I was helped by John, who gave me a new charger free of charge, along with replacing the battery for $129. Great customer service.

I was not a fan of iPhone but after today, I see why apple continues to dominate: the quality of customer service. After my droid was fried, Best Buy couldn't and wouldn't help me, the phone fix kiosks couldn't help me, I am on a college student budget, just paid my next summer class so I'm completely broke, I have no phone, I went in and just couldn't help but cry. Natalie helped me first she was absolutely amazing and helped me get through the process seamlessly and with her help and a couple prayers to the credit gods I made the switch from galaxy to iPhone. Unfortunately about five minutes later the phone stopped working, I came back in and someone helped me right away. Android may have more advanced phones but when it comes to customer service apple leads the way and as Of now I am happy to switch to team iPhone.

This store is a scam to get you to buy a new device! The "GENIUS" wasn't able to change a battery in my iPhone 6! Said that was Apple "policy" for the "safety" of employeesoh PLEASE.
They are only there to "help" you spend money NOT to help you with your problem.
I will never waste my time again in an Apple Retard Bar.
I would never recommend this place to anybody.
There are many competent repair shops & kiosks willing to egarly & politely help you actually repair your device at reasonable prices.
Why support egotistical snobs who think they are better than everyone else & refuse to help you solve your problem siting Apple Policy as their excuse?

I just needed to get my phone's battery replaced, so I went in one night at 7 and they told me to come back for an appointment the next day. So I showed up the next night for my appointment and was told my battery was consumed and would need to be replaced. The man who worked with me during my appointment was very kind and did a great job. He gave me a claim sticker to bring back before 9 to get my phone.
I returned at 8:45, turned in my claim sticker to a guy up front, then was told it wasn't ready yet. I was fine with that. I went and sat down and was updated a couple times of how much longer it should take.
As it gets closer to 9, people who came in after me to claim their phones were getting serviced. Also, a lot of the employees started leaving (I'm guessing that included the guy who received my claim sticker). They started roping off the entrance and shutting everything down by the time 9:30 rolled around. Finally, when I was the last person in there not being helped, I approached someone at the Genius Bar and told them that I had been waiting for a while and had already turned in my claim sticker. He quickly looks up my name and yells me, "Oh, it's ready." I'm guessing it had been ready the whole time I was sitting there, but there was an utter lack of communication. To make it even better, the young lady who I ended up making my payment through says, "You made it just in time before they start locking the mall doors!" Why should customers STILL be waiting past the store's closing time?? I'm giving two stars because my battery WAS successfully replaced, but customer service sucks unless you're making a big purchase. I guess it's my fault for assuming that they had everything figured out.

Let me star by saying, I have been shopping at at this Apple Store for a long time. Today I came in to buy an iPhone 7 and was given pretty good service to start with, I didn't wait long and the employee I worked with ,Andres ,was really funny and helpful. But the issue occurred when I came back to the store. I had gone upstairs to get a phone case and glass proctor when I find I can't get into my account because I need a verification ID on my other iPhone. So I go back downstairs after spending almost another 50 dollars and the employee helping me in the front is not only rude to other customers but also drops and dents my brand new iPhone 7 which I haven't had but 30 minutes. She then proceeds to joke about how "you get one drop on a phone but you know it seems fine". I'm pissed I spent money on a case a phone and a protector in full. So I head back to the employee that helped me before, Andres, which he gets me the manager and the replace my phone. The manager and Andres were both really spectacular and apologetic, but needless to say I had to buy and replace my glass because Apple couldn't replace it. After spending that much money at an Apple Store I wouldn't except that an employee would be so negligent with an iPhone to start with.

Cory helped me during my experience. This mans sense of customer service is something that you can rarely find nowadays. He carried himself professionally the entire time. I got there late, and he stayed well past closing in order to make sure that my problems that I went in for got fixed. He even cleaned up unused files from my laptops memory in order to make it run faster (I didn't even go in for this). Even though my problems were hard to fix, during the entire 45 minutes he spent working on my laptop, he never showed a hint of annoyance considering we kept him there significantly past closing time. He ended my experience by giving my laptop a total wipe down, because he says it's comparible to getting a car wash and he knows that its a good feeling having a clean car (or something along those lines). Bottom line, I was blown away by this guys service. I never write these reviews but this guy really earned it. This is exactly the kind of guy you hope to run into when you go into a restaurant, retail store, or just anywhere. I will request and recommend Cory for all of my future visits. Thanks!

The Genius Bar Tech 'Pots' is the man! Friendly, helpful and really seemed like he cared about getting my data off a super old mac. Was on the fence about getting another mac and after getting top quality help from this guy, literally went out and bought a new mac that day. Thanks Pots!
