Spent a very nice evening there. Food and vine are very good. Service is very good too. Very cozy environment. The place is pretty busy so better call for reservation.

Absolutely fantastic! The food was amazing, appetizers, bread and entrees all have a unique and delicious taste! Servers were funny and exceptional! The ambience is great and the decor is really great! Overall a wonderful experience and great for date night and family dinners. It is small and.fills p quick but also clears up quick!

Excellent service wonderful wine-searcher impeccable food. Delicious excellent menu highly recommend the calamari and shrimp with Piccata sauce served on top of mashed potatoes. And vegetables . Also ordered the beautifully fresh spinach salad with an excellent Caesars dressing. Always TLC when I go there. Recommend the Sonoma Chardonnay. Support The Vineyards suffering fire damage.

Antica Trattoria is in my neighborhood so I have visited on numerous occasions. The food is fantastic, service is impeccable and you'll find they have a great selection of wines. This restaurant is a hidden gem.

8 dollars for a cannoli. The filling was tangy like cream cheese and had the texture of mayo. Luckily two mint leaves accompanied this excuse of a cannoli and helped masked the flavor. Cannoli lovers beware. Che schifo!

Had a great time last week. Ordered several salads and appetizers and all were very good to excellent. Fine detail on all tastes and presentation. Knowledgeable staff and owned on the premise makes for high moral, quick service and the anticipation of your needs. Have been a customer for years and will not stop.

Best Italian in La Mesa, East County. The pasta is so creamy and the gnocchi is top notch. Make sure you go on a special day and get serenaded with music by the server.

We ate the Brussels sprouts appetizer and shared the salmon shrimp linguini. They served warm bread with oil while we waited.
Every bite was delicious. We are planning our return.

If I could give this place a 10 out of 5 I would. Spectacular service, authentic cuisine, even listened to a server break out in Italian serenading. So amazing, so relaxing, didn't even wait to leave before posting this. MUST HAVE if you're in the area

Been here enough times now to call it my favorite east county Italian restaurant. House made bread, pasta and the gnocchi is to die for. Good wine selection, friendly service and if you're lucky the staff occasionally serenades you with Opera.
