Of all the BBQ meats, the beef if the best! The prices are a little high, but the portions are excellent if you're looking for a filling meal.

People give l&l Hawaiian a bad rap but it's really good!

I always get the bbq combo plate, it's a large portion of food you get a thin cut steak, and a chicken breast in cooked in teriyaki sauce.

The plate comes with a heap of rice and macaroni salad. Just an FYI get an extra side of rice and or salad because they give a lot of meat which gets to be a turn off for me after a while and that way you're guaranteed a second meal!

The service here is absolutely horrible. I called in an order, spoke to a male who was obviously new. He didn't even know how to answer the phone/what to say to a customer calling in. He didn't ask for a name. I had to ask, "Do you need my name?" He said my order would be ready in 10 minutes. I got there ten minutes later and they had no record of my order. I verified I called the right location. It was the same number, right address, everything was correct. Still – no record of me calling, no order made. The guy I spoke to wasn't there. There was another new girl who tried helping me. No one there is properly trained, which falls directly on the store's management. Unbelievable that someone would let people this poorly trained run their store. The cooks were also rude. You could tell that they were laughing at the new girl who was clearly struggling. There were 3 people in front of me in line, all of their orders had issues. Completely unacceptable level of service and a pathetic attempt at management. Train your people and understand that you're running a business. Your store is a joke.

Bad customer service! Had a coupon and they would not accept even though the college dollar stretcher sign was still posted on the front door. Will not be returning to this location.

Great tasting food with generous portions. Prices are affordable. However, was expecting more seating for eating in. Great for pickup, bad for dinning in.

8/27/2016 For $18.63 including delivery fee my food was delivered an hour late, food was warm/cold. I ordered the seafood combo with the bbq short ribs and one slab of rib was nothing but fat and bone, my shrimp tasted overcooked and my fish was cold..the white sticky rice and mac salad was probably the only thing good on my whole plate. The icing on the cake is that the delivery driver forgot my strawberry grava drink. and really i let him slide because he was a new guy but when i called to see if i can get a discount or my money back the lady on the phone says that it is between me and the guy to deal with itRUDE! she said i should call him back with the number on my receipt, which i than explained to her that the number took me back to her the RESTAURANT itself..smh as my first time experienceing what was supposed to be good food i feel as if i will NOT return as a customer..3 stars 👎👎

This was one of my favorite places to eat when we lived in Hawaii, so I was so happy to see it when we moved to San Diego. I love their whole menu. I usually end up with a BBQ mix plate, but I'm a huge fan of Chicken Katsu and Garlic Shrimp. You get so much food too. Their mac salad is so ono!!
