Beautiful restaurant, wonderful atmosphere, and some of the best Italian food I've ever had (coming from someone who's boyfriend of the last 6 months grew up in Italy)

Beautiful restaurant. Amazing experience! Stephanie is the absolute best, and a pleasure to have. Will definitely be coming here again when we visit San Diego!

They used to have the most excellent Spaghetti New Orleans and Jacks Chopped Salad - but no longer. At least they still have Shrimp Bisque :(

Pretty good service; not excellent. Wine was good. Food just okay. Bruchetta was on large slices of bread from a loaf of Italian bread tasted good but visually disappointing. Lasagna had no ricotta cheese a big disappointment. Very expensive. Not a good value. Sorry but will not be back.

The food was great it was our service that was so poor. We sat outside with another table right next to us.
Wife and I noticed the huge difference in service between the two tables. Each time he came out he would make sure to ask if they needed anything. Then would service the table and walk back inside.
I had to hold my arm out with my empty glass to get something more to drink and even then didn't ask my wife if she needed anything. Just bad over all and will not return.response / report this review -

Food is very authentic Italian with a nice atmosphere. The service and quality never disappoints. This is my go to place when I am taking people out in the area. Total experience is authentic and a good value.

Came here for a wedding rehearsal dinner, they handled the few in our group with food allergies expertly and the food was good!

Good service, the food is average. I ordered a chicken breast, and for the price I expected sides to be included, I was wrong. Too much money for the food, both quality and quantity.

We have been dining at Jack and Giulio's since they were in Pacific Beach (then it was Giulio's) for special occasions or treating out of town guests to a great dinner. They have never disappointed us! Scampi ala Giulio's is our favorite, but sometimes we order the special or something else and have never been served anything but delicious food by gracious servers. The cioppino is to die for. When anyone asks for a restaurant suggestion, we highly recommend J & G. Our anniversary is coming up, so three guesses where we are headed!
