Fun place very popular for locals and travelers featuring local seafood.. kids welcome.
Always crowded however service is OUTSTANDING and fast. Good food too.

Great food fun atmosphere and great service. Large portions at fair price. A great local spot to enjoy all this area has to offer. Will be one of our favorite frequented spots for great casual dining close to home.

OUR SERVER was BETHANY, she was GREAT. Very attentive to our needs. Hope we get her again. This is super. Nice to see mgr Tim is back. Quality I think trickles down to employees.

It is pricey but the portions we received were huge. The kids meal was quite large. Big Caesar salad, and huge portion of fish and chips. Coconut shrimp meal was also large, comes with an apricot horseradish dip that is super spicy. We had wings, and they were overcooked. That was the only issue still tasted good but a little dry. We had a great waitress and we were sat quite quickly at 6:30 on a Friday night.

We just returned from New Orleans and my wife still says the gumbo here is better than what she had there. Nice atmosphere with plenty of light, friendly staff and all around very pleasant experience. Our only grumble was the sweet potato fries my wife ordered were over fried. Once notified they brought out a new order that was perfect.

Stopped by after shopping with my sister, we were undecided on what we wanted to eat when we were driving by and shrimp sounded good. it was Super busy, but was seated right away. A cheerful waitress greeted us took our order in a matter of minutes. The food was brought out promptly and was fresh and piping hot. We had fried shrimp and Pollack, fries, hush puppies, Cole slaw and it was delicious!! Now we have a new lunch place to add to our favs!

The service is awesome, prompt but not overbearing, knowledgeable and friendly. The food is and has always been delicious. Me and my girlfriend always sit outside for the view as we eat. All in all I'll always bring my family here and friends here, and recommend this to anyone wanting good seafood at a reasonable price.

Our server, Nancy, was very nice and quite prompt even with how busy the restaurant was at the time. We had oysters on half shell for an appetizer. Love that they serve actual horseradish with them! My dad had the main lobster and I had prime rib. Lobster was succulent, the butter delicious. My prime rib was great - a little sparse on seasoning but still quite yummy

Popular with just about everyone. Never had a bad experience here, food is delicious and served hot. Portions were large for what I ordered. Wait times can be a bit long at times especially around 5 pm. A bit cool inside, but then again, I wasn't running around serving, so if your cool natured bring a lite sweater or jacket.

First, you know it's a bad sign when you ask your waiter where these oysters come from and they come back with a "we don't know" answer. Second, four out twelve oysters were nasty/not fresh/dead. We also ordered the escargot plate, the local grouper entree, popcorn shrimp, the deep fried calamari and some chocolate cake. The escargot was very good, very buttery. There grouper entree was also very very good, since it was locally caught and fresh. The popcorn shrimp was just ok. Nothing to write home about. The chocolate cake was very good.

Great food. Bethany was great, very attentive to us (party of 6). We will be back to enjoy the great good they have to offer. Lobster Bisque, clam chowder are a must try!

The atmosphere here was strange and it seemed like senior citizen night when I was there. But the mussels were FANTASTIC. I could dip my whole life into that sauce

Great food and great service! I've been here since 1987, and have seen a lot of restaurants quality go down hill. Not the Oyster Bar. Still our favorite!

Pretty good for these parts. The wait staff is hit or miss, but that bothers me little as I adjust the tip accordingly. The outdoor section is adequate - more could be done with it. The food is always acceptable. No complaints - aside from their oyster crackers anyways. All in all, it's the best place I have eaten at near Tampa factoring in the food, atmosphere, and general competency of staff. I have no qualms recommending it to someone else. Don't expect the spectacular and you probably wont be disappointed. I go when I have the chance. You'll find it less crowded and more enjoyable through the week. A nice place to go when you take that rare mental health day off from work! You'll get the most bang for your buck at lunchtime.
