Service was really good and up front with me about what I needed and didn't need. I needed the brakes done and that was it for this time around. Also, Eric helped me with Derrick and Kelly in parts to purchase a piece of garnish I needed for my vehicle. They went above and beyond their regular scope to help me fix up my vehicle. I really appreciated that so much.
Rola was great, went with a friend to check out leases, got approved with zero down with very cheap lease, cheaper than buying a used car.
Friendly service, great waiting area, my son can climb in the showroom cars, clear descriptions of services and parts used/needed.
I have used this Hyundai franchise since about 2003 because I found the sales staff and, especially, the service staff to be honest and competent. There has never been a time when I had reason to question either their work or their recommendations. While under new ownership, I'm hopeful that the past excellence will continue.
Mediocre experience visiting to test drive a new car. Online ads contained a bait and switch; claimed the model I was interested in was a manual, but dealer only had automatics available. I decided to test drive the car anyway for fun. Afterwards, the coupon I had for a gift card for test driving a vehicle was not honored, because I didn't print it out (despite having the coupon on my phone) - what is it, a decade ago? An overall reminder as to how depressing car shopping can be.
They were really helpful and friendly in taking care of the recall, I really appreciate it.
Hyundai of Ann Arbor is the worst Car Dealership I have ever experienced. I leased 2 cars and purchased one car. The sales department was horrible, the finance guy was a nice guy but he was unorganized and never gave us the correct paperwork. The service department always wanted to overcharge me and had the worst customer service skills ever. I got in a very heated argument with the Sales Manager Ryan. I was told Ryan was having a bad day. That is not my problem, I just expect to be treated with some common courtesy. Finally, we recently turned in our lease vehicle and it was and is a nightmare of extra charges and horrible customer service from Hyundai financial and warranty service. Save yourself some grief, buy or have your car serviced somewhere else.

The rating is only for sales section as I have never dealt with service department. There were only 2 sales people during my visit. They were behaving as if they worked non stop 72 hours. I do not know, may be they really did. However, it does not look good when a customer walks in , expecting a warm welcome. They were not rude at all but behaved as if they prefer to be themselves.
Very helpful people who who sell you exactly what you want. Very low prices as well. Will recommend to anyone looking for a vehicle.
Good service with friendly people. I have never been disappointed.
No proper place for customers to sit and discuss. Getting details is not easy.
I recently bought a 2016 Hyundai Sonata from Ann Arbor Hyundai. I called all the Hyundai dealerships within a two hour radius and could not find a better price than what Ann Arbor offered me. I'm very satisfied with my purchase and the price I paid and I am already recommending this dealership to my friends.
I would suggest the following to anyone considering to buy a car from here (or any other dealer for that mater):
1. Figure out exactly what car you would like to buy. If you're not sure what you want, visit dealerships to test drive different cars, but don't try to negotiate the price in the same visit that you're test driving cars.
2. Never try to negotiate the price at the dealer. Call around, tell dealers the exact make, model, and trim level you want and ask what price they are willing to sell you the car for if they can beat X price. If they can't beat X price, then there's nothing else to discuss. Reject any attempts they make to bring you into the dealership without first agreeing to the price over the phone (There's no need, you already know exactly what you want; you've already test-driven the vehicle, the only thing left to discuss is price).
3. Don't go to a dealer to buy a car unless you have an agreed upon, out-the-door price (i.e the price you make out the check for which includes tax, tag, title, etc.) in e-mail for a specific vehicle with a corresponding VIN number and link to pictures/description of the vehicle. Do not believe any claims that they can't e-mail you the price because it is "too low." Its important that the price they offer is tied to a specific vehicle with a VIN.
4. Optional: After you have the agreed upon price in an e-mail, purchase insurance and send proof of insurance and pictures of the front and back side of your driver's license to dealership in advance of picking up car. This will speed up paperwork tremendously. I did this and was in and out of dealer to pick up my car in less than 1 hour.
