Best food in Livingston County. Looking for a night out with a loved one and high-end quality food and drinks? Come here and you won't be disappointed with the food or service or atmosphere. Outdoor seating is also available. Located directly across from a park in downtown Pinckney.

Great place, always get a delicious & beautiful plate of food whatever I'm ordering. The soda machines might have the best tasting pop I've ever had, ergo great tasting mix drinks. The staff is very knowledgeable & professional. I usually order either the Spicy Asiago bow-ties, Sicilian steak or Filet, salmon, soups of the day.. the La Vita salad is great. For an appetizer the spinach dip or glazed heirloom carrots are amazing. Desert I always get their Almond Cake or flowerless chocolate cake. Definitely ask the staff about the specials. Whether you're getting food quickly for lunch or relaxing for dinner, they know how to accommodate you. The executive chef always makes innovative, well thought-out menus that deliver truly fresh Italian & American flavors. Can't go wrong here really. I order take-out a couple times a week, and during the summer sit outside in their badass patio with open fire & if I'm lucky I'll catch a live band. In the winter it's great to sit inside by the recognizable red bar, which houses an incredible variation of liquors and wines. The bartenders will make you anything you can imagine. If you don't have an idea of what you want then their menu or suggestions always suffice. Count me as a loyal customer for life. 🖒

The food is great! We were not rushed and enjoyed a leisurely dinner, catching up with old friends. Our waiter was young and inexperienced and needs to learn to listen.

Great atmosphere and super friendly staff makes this a favorite place for me. Some of the dishes are mediocre, but some are outstanding, like the calamari and spicy bowtie pasta. Great bar menu too! I am really glad we have a place like this in our small town.

My family all wanted to get food from the diner for a picnic at the playground but I wanted something special. Tried to duplicate the amazing salad that I got at Bravo in E.Lansing nights before. Ordered house salad with salmon add on, balsamic vinaigrette dressing, no onions for carry out at LVB. For $12 (plus I gave a $4 tip) I took out a salad with onions, no dressing and plain square piece of salmon that looked like it came from the freezer section at Busches. I ended up using ranch from the diner on my $16, "special" salad. Not sure that Ill do it again. The 6 meals ordered from the diner were just as they expected them to be. :/

I rated 5 stars on trip advisor. 5 star on Google also. We have eaten herw at least 25 times. We have never been disappointed. Tonight we had the crab cakes. You would think you were sitting at a ocean view restaurant in Massachusetts having the crab cakes. The only difference is the ******* Michigan weather .

I suggest entering through the doors closest to Main St. so you don't have to wind yourself through the entire restaurant to get to the hostess stand. The hostess was exceptionally friendly, as was our waitress, Cecily. The interior of the bistro is cozy, warm, and nicely decorated, albeit crammed with too many tables and people.

We started with their complimentary bread, which is delicious, following that with tomato and basil soup which was flavorful, but lukewarm. Both of us would have liked it to be hot. We weren't super hungry, so we split lasagna, made with homemade sausage, which was a little disappointing. First, from a texture perspective, slices of sausage just don't belong in lasagna. My opinion, it should be taken out of the casing, and cut or crumbled before making it part of this dish. Secondly, I thought it might have been me, but my husband agreed that there was a slightly fishy taste to the lasagna. It was peculiar and unwelcome, but not so overpowering that we wanted to take time to send it back, as we were a tad rushed.

I really want to give La Vita Bistro four stars, but just can't, so we'll have to come back and try something else. Thumbs up to Cecily on providing excellent service--hopefully we'll get lucky and have her as our waitress again. I know this restaurant has more to offer than what we got. I just know it.

Up scale ambiance with midline affordability! Always a pleasure to show off our community by bringing clients here! It feels intimate and luxurious. Wait staff is super attentive and food is divine. We get new ideas for new wines here too! Can't miss this jewel!
