We have taken our pets to Dr. G. for almost 20 years. He is a very caring and knowledegable vet. We have laughed and cried together over the years. His staff is also very caring, truly sweet folks, who love animals and are also fun to be around! Our pets have had and continue to have excellent veterinary care at Animal Medical Center. We moved to Beaufort June of 2016. Our previous Vet in Charleston recommended Dr. Guilloud for continued care for our senior dogs.

From the very first visit, I have been totally pleased with the entire staff, the warm family atmosphere, and the excellent care from both Dr's.

"Dr. Mark" takes the time to listen and TEACH the pet owners. He explains diagnosis' in understandable terms without talking down. He provides website sources for continued understanding. He also takes making the correct diagnosis very seriously.

He even recommended a great source when my car battery was dying!

Frank and Rachael have always been exceptionally kind and professional.
Frank calls me by name now due to very frequent appointments. He is always helpful in any way possible. He even helped hold Rudy for sand spurs to be removed.

Whenever we need an appointment, or to board the dogs at the last minute, this has been worked out.

Even yesterday, when I needed more prescription dog food for our diabetic dog, Rachael made it happen! The only bag available was 27lbs., much more than needed. She helped me to get it from an online source and immediately provided the prescription required. Now that is great.

Jean is also very kind.
The techs Stephanie and Stefanie work well together and with Rudy, drawing blood, etc.

Thanks to all of you working there, including the Kennel Staff.. You are the BEST!

Recently Rudy and Breezy stayed overnight. They came out with a cute bag personalized for them with their names I don't know who went "over and above" to give them a better "overnight" bag, but this was very sweet.

We all love this Clinic and the staff. "Dr. Mark" is our main Veterinarian. We appreciate his care more than words could ever express.

So very grateful to have the Animal Medical Center! The entire staff is kind, caring and knowledgable. I feel more like family walking in the door rather than just another client with a pet that needs veterinary care. They are always very responsive to the needs of my senior dog and his particular health issues. It's great to have friendly, courteous professionals that we know we can count on to provide outstanding care for our dog!

We found this vet in an emergency after moving here 7 years ago. We have stayed because of their love and devotion to our pets. They are always so friendly and helpful. Their front desk staff is the best ever! They always have a smile and are willing to help you find coupons on your pet's meds. The techs and vets are always patient with our questions. It is SERIOUSLY like taking your pet to family to have them looked after. I will never go anywhere else!
Update 2017: Once again, they have spent hours saving one of my pug's lives! Poor guy has been dealing with colon issues the past few years and they have performed emergency surgery for him on two occasions now. Top notch employees and amazing care, as always!!

I really like the staff here. All of the vets are thorough, but they don't perform unnecessary procedures or tests. You get good care at a reasonable price. That's important when you have two dogs, two cats, two guinea pigs, and a rabbit.
