Nice grub, not too shabby on prices (fair prices), calm when I went which was a Tuesday nightnot sure the rest of the week.

Angry Ale’s is my go-to for a bar atmosphere and delicious food. They have amazing American/unhealthy food (IE Tot-chos, incredible) but they also have good salads and lighter fare. They have lots of drink specials and good service. Highly recommended.

So we originally planned on going to press box but it was packed and this place looked good and empty. Okay the mac in this place- the freakin mac was awesome. Just don't ask questions, do yourself a favor, and get it (unless you're lactose intolerant then dont?). Cheap drinks, good food with huge servings, nice wait staff, tvs everywhere, music not drowning out conversation. We are just stopping through so us being here was on a whim and I'm glad we stopped in. Stop by and give it a try!

I have gone here twice in a row on my yearly visits to Charlotte. I have gone alone, as a woman and never felt unsafe in the area or this bar. Good service, drink price, music and the indoor and outdoor seating is great. Both times I’ve been there has been outdoor music (live band) that I’ve enjoyed. It’s going to be my regular bar on my yearly visits now!

Not bad place for food or drink. Plenty of TVs. At least their is an ample amount of parking, unlike some places near uptown where theyll boot your car in a heartbeat.

Cheese steak was decent but nothing like a real authentic cheesesteak. We went when they just opened and stayed on the patio since we had a dog with us.

If this were simply a sports bar/grill spot I'd probably give Angry Ale's 3.5-stars. But, Angry Ale's is a Packer bar, so it gets a 5-start review. The food is always decent. The wait staff is always super friendly, even if they're sometimes slow. They have a good craft beer selection and always have a Packers game food special!

Jessy is a great bartender who has a great sense of humor.and of course she's easy on the eyes. me and a buddy stoped in for a few refreshments and enjoyed our time there.

Only tasted chicken wings. Some garlic flavor they were awesome and I'm extremely picky with chicken wings. Drink menu specials are good too

Visiting family and they said people they know come here for lunch a lot so we decided to try it. We came for lunch and it was pretty dead, just a few people at the bar, so we took a seat and a lady came to give us menus. We all ordered, a salad, a wrap and some sliders. They all were very good! I also suggest the tater tots!!!

Great place for drinks and fun with a crowd. I really enjoy the Angry Burger (I believe it is called) It has jalapenos and cream cheese and is really really tasty. They also have loaded tots which are quite good. Every time I have ever been, it has been very crowded. They do have an outside patio which is quite nice and heated at winter! Great little stop on Montford. And, since you're on Montford, there are lots of great places to hop to for another drink or another app!
