Not too bad for the price. Most of the hotels along South Harbor are about the same. Do not book room 200 it is upstairs next to the elevators, and has no bureau,or closet of any sort.
Hotel location was awesome. Rooms were decent for the price paid - dated, but certainly great for the $$ we paid and they were clean, functional and we found the beds comfortable. Quiet at night and we slept great. Only reason we didn't give a five star review was that there was mixed service at front desk. One person would be great, helpful and friendly - next person would be surly, annoyed and definitely not helpful. So, luck of the draw on front desk.
Maintenance and maids were very nice. Had lack of hot water one day and fixed immediately. We had a suite, so just used the 2nd bathroom that day. Those things happen and they handled it perfectly.
It is very close to Disneyland. Definitely good for walking distance. The breakfast is simple, but I hop and Dennys are next to the hotel. Also walking distance to McDonald's and panera. Furniture is a run down but otherwise clean. The noise from other floors is audible so bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. And last but not least the comforter could be a little thicker. So if you are looking for a basic hotel and going to Disneyland I would recommend it.
Like other reviews, this place is a little dated but for the price and cleanliness it can't be beat. Staff was friendly. Parking is little tight. Stayed for 7 days and had a great time.
I cannot give this hotel 5 stars, because it is a little rundown. That being said, it is very clean, which I appreciate. The location is more convenient than even the Disneyland hotel itself. The pool is indoor, which is strange for socal, but all in all worth the price, and much cleaner than legacy or the candy cane inn.
Someone was pounding on our door at 1145pm claiming he had been assigned that room and that we needed to leave. Problem is we had checked in at like 3pm and had been in and out of the room all day so clearly we were in the right place. They started violently shaking the door which woke my two toddlers up in a panic because they thought someone was trying to break into our room. They finally left after 10 minutes of yelling and shaking the door. Then the front desk calls to ask us what's going on.. uh.. well I'm guessing you guys double booked the room number because the person pounding on our door didn't seem drunk or otherwise intoxicated. They then asked if we were sure we were in the right room. Well You have us room keys and told us a room number and it's been working all day.. but just in case the chaotic seen outside the door to our room didn't totally traumatize my toddlers; the phone ringing super loud totally finished them off. No one from the hotel has communicated with us at all today and unfortunately with the trick or treat stuff at Disneyland all the other hotels are full; otherwise I would have checked out today and gone to any other hotel. My toddlers finally calmed down and felt safe enough to sleep at around 3am this morning and it has essentially wiped out a day from our Disneyland trip because they are so beat tired.. The experience was terrible enough. The hotel calling and trying to blame us was way worse and the fact that they don't care enough to check on us today tells me all I need to know about that place.a
Location is perfect. Very clean rooms. Staff was great. Can't believe it doesn't have more 5 stars! Stay there every time for the past 10 years!!
Our room is very nice and clean and the staff is friendly! Valet parking is available since the normal parking is full. They brought our car up very fast, within about 5 minutes! The best part is we are right across the street from DISNEYLAND so we can just walk!
great location, great deal, perfect place to sleep, close to restaurants and across the street from Disneyland.. for the rate you can not go wrong.. we even got free breakfast included, and they gave us coupons for restaurants.
Room had two tv's, one in a small living room. Furniture is a little dated but still in good condition.
This is our family's go-to hotel when it comes to visiting Southern California. We never enjoyed any other hotel besides this one right here. It is right across from Disneyland, so you could literally walk. There is an iHop and a Denny's right nearby. The staff were very welcoming and did everything they could to ensure our week there would be pleasant. Parking wasn't much of a problem as it was last year. The rooms were clean when we arrived and we didn't have any problems with the maids (actually, they had outdone themselves. Room was spotless) We will totally stay here for our next trip.
Great location, dated interiors, reasonable rates considering it is across the street from the Disneyland entrance. Busy place, motel style so you walk outdoors to your room. This place is popular with families. 4 stars just because it needs renovating / updating and the service isn't bad but the front desk did seem understaffed when we checked in. Despite being overworked they were very polite and helpful. Not dinging it much because at the price point this is at you should not be expecting the latest and greatest.
I've stayed here multiple times and always enjoy my stay. Its proximity to the park will make it easy to overlook any shortcomings that the property may have. The breakfast is great and the rooms are clean and comfortable.
Very cosy rooms, but the coffee is awful. Great air-conditioning. Quiet at night. All the facilities you need, for example, laundry, swimming pool, breakfast room, vending machines). Less than 3 minutes walk to Disneyland Resort. Near an i-hop and a Denny's (you get 10% off a Denny's breakfast). We enjoyed our stay at Anaheim Desert Inn very much.
The customer service in this place is absolutely deplorable. While my family and I were out in the Disney parks for the day, our sink filled up and overflowed with a black, mildew water. Based on the smell in the room, I'm guessing this isn't the first time it happened. Because we're from out of town, I thought hey, maybe that's what this motel smells like?? However, because my family and I were out until after 10:00pm - some serious damage to our stuff around the sink area (because, who doesn't leave stuff by the sink in a hotel?) got damaged. We had to throw out toothbrushes, makeup brushes, and some other items. There was no apology from the management about the issue, they didn't acknowledge that it was a black mildew (even though that's what the maintenance man stated), and we asked for a toothbrush we were told we could buy one from the gift shop.seriously??
I don't know what training the management has gone through, but clearly they skipped helping people out. I mean sure, maybe it was a decision from the CEO to make as many budget cuts as possible, and that includes to gouge paying customers because why not? But come on, you ruin my toothbrush (AMONGST OTHER THINGS) and then expect us to BUY another??
The hotel is located about less than a 5 minute walk to Disneyland. The hotel was very accommodating. We got there late but they still gave us a room. The room was nice, a little hot even with the AC on. The beds were very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was very basic and mediocre.
