Finding the place was difficult. First, we turned into the McDonald's entrance. Then we passed it and had to make a u-turn. We had to drive really slow and then found the entrance, which was one in the same as Panera.
All the staff that we encountered were friendly, except one! He looked busy on his phone in the lot. They all greeted us with a welcoming smile and salutation. Checking in and out was very easy. Valet & self-parking are the same price. Valet service was fast when needed!
Room was clean. I wish the sink/closet area was a little more spacious. Our room didn't have a microwave, which kind of sucked, but was manageable.
It's clean and it's a place to crash after a long day at Disneyland. The beds squeak, the bathroom doorknob was broken, and the interior decor looks like it was selected so that they could hose down the room if needed. It serves it's purpose but don't go here expecting "nice".
Nice hotel. I think the value for the $ is here. A couple of observations, not complaints. Stay on the west side. This hotel is so close to the freeway, the east side is noisy. We couldn't get the AC to keep a constant temp either to cold or way to cold I think you could stay at another place on Harbor Dr and have a very pleasant experience for a little less $ Your call.
This hotel has hardwood floors 🙌🙌🙌.. no more risky carpet. The staff has been wonderful from the receptionist to the valet. Easy check in. About a 10 minute walk to Disneyland. I would definitely stay here again.
My family and I stayed there for our trip to Disneyland. It was beautiful, clean, up to date, and the service was amazing! I loved having a cafe, pool, and a coin operated washer and dryer. The washer and dryer was a life saver so we didn't have to pack as much.
Just spent 10 days here on our first trip to Disneyland and the surrounding area. Can’t say enough good things about the hotel from the cleanliness to the extremely friendly and courteous staff, they all went above and beyond our expectations. We would not hesitate to return and recommend to family and friends. Also the proximity to the main gates of Disneyland and California Adventure Parks was a bonus!!
We love this location - it's convenient to the Disney Resort and has a ton of eateries around it. The front desk was fantastic and offered us a room with a view and so we spent our first night watching fireworks from our balcony. Love the pizza hut (express?) And the on site food offerings like yogurt, cheese, pastries etc on the 3rd floor and the kids enjoyed the arcade located there as well. If I could change 1 thing it would be the elevators - it closes quickly and travels slowly between floors.
Nice hotel with very friendly staff. Only big con was the room had a huge window that looks into the entire room including your beds. The curtains didn't block the light from coming in or from people going up to the window to peer in. There are real two curtains on the side that DON'T slide to the center for privacy. The center only has sheer curtains that are see through. I'm a light sleeper so getting used to the light shining in (there was a lamp right out side the window) too some getting used to. Other than that, was an excellent hotel.
Our family stayed in adjoining rooms at the end of May for our annual trip to Disneyland. This was our first time trying a hotel off the Disney property. We were thrilled to find such nice accommodations at a fraction of the cost of a Disney Hotel. The hotel is located across the street from the main entrance and is actually a shorter walk to the park than from the Disney Hotel. The only down side at all was the small pool especially when the pool and slides of the neighboring hotel were so close and enticing to the younger ones. Our next trip we may have to try it (still a Marriott) just because of the water activities. The service was wonderful. The check in and out was easy with extremely helpful and friendly staff. The rooms are a little smaller than other hotels but fit our family fine. They were spotlessly clean on the up side. The plus was the food area on the third floor complete with fresh brewed coffee in the morning and a microwave for reheating our bagel bites. We would definitely recommend this hotel.
The staff here is amazing. Our room was spacious and clean. We had an amazing view of the fireworks at Disneyland and a short walk to the park. I will definitely be back!
Interesting hotel. They have updated the rooms which are much better than before but still has these tiny little rooms which leave something to be desired. Overall I am just content staying here due to the proximity to Disneyland. It doesn't have any fancy that makes it a unique spot other than location. The staff are fine and they have a little gift shop which is nice. Elevators are often too busy and you wait for a bit each time you need one.
It is a typical hotel. Nothing fancy. It is clean and the staff is very nice. You will have to pay $17 for parking. There is a Pizza Hut express and market on the third floor to get something fast to eat. The best part of the hotel is the location to Disneyland. It is just a 10 minute walk max.
The Fairfield Inn is a pleasant, cost effective way to stay right next door to Disneyland. My room was clean, fresh, and well furnished. The bed seems average as compared to other hotel beds, but doesn't compare at all to my bed at home (so despite being comfortable enough, I do miss my own bed). I didn't visit the pool but did smell the clorine when walking past it on my way to Disneyland (which is a very short walk). Overall I'm pleased with the resort and feel that it provided good value and great location for the price.
I booked a room for 6 nights for my wife and 4 month old daughter. We received a pack n' play crib for her to sleep in and the bathroom area has a newly renovated sliding door which acts as her bedroom. We slept so well! The new renovations are really nice and we feel it's nicer to stay here than even some of the Disney hotels we've been to. The staff is very friendly and were able to give us a room facing the park. Highly recommended.
