Imagine that you've booked your florist over a year in advance and three months before the wedding you're told that they are going out of business. As a bride left in panic mode, Amelia Florist stepped in to help! They already had four weddings scheduled for our popular weekend, but told us they would do what it takes to help us out! Don't think that because they are in the little town of Amelia that they can't handle large grandeur weddings because they can! I was very specific in what I was looking for and we wanted a lot of flowers.

We called four other florists after ours cancelled, and knew right away that working with the Amelia Florist was the right choice, Their pricing is competitive and Angie (the wedding coordinator) was amazing to work with. She was a well oiled machine and knew the right questions to ask and got me every flower I told her I liked (even though other florists said they couldn't get them in September) and in our budget.

When we saw our bouquets and the tall arrangements at the reception, our jaws dropped. They were beautiful and they went above and beyond to add the extra little details (hello bling) that stood out. Thank you so much for coming to our rescue and and "wowing" us!

Vicki was amazing to work with me on a very large customized order for a company Christmas party. Our centerpieces were so beautiful and creative and a true reflection of what I described that I wanted. Everything was very professional and delivered on time and just perfect! Love this place! Most beautiful bouquet I could have ever imagined! Vickie Wenstrup & Linda Caskey were absolutely amazing to work with. I just showed up with a pinterest picture and they ran with it! They called me often enough to keep me in the loop on timelines and product shipment arrivals. Could not ask for a better experience!

I now live out of state. Previously, I had been in the Amelia Florist and Gift Shop on numerous occasions. Having always been so pleased with the wide and gorgeous floral selections and the helpful staff, that I called Amelia Florist and Gift Shop to have flowers delivered to a hospital for a 'new-born' in the family. They were so very helpful with lots of ideas and suggestions. I was later told by attending family at the hospital that the vase was so cute, and the flowers were just perfect. The 'new mom' was so surprised and so pleased being remembered so thoughtfully and from so far !!! Thank you Amelia Florist, Wine & Gift Shop for making me look good and helping me be part of that memorable occasion.
