The way to contact them over the phone is the rarest event possible. they should have good customer service. they dont't call you back or follow-up if you leave a message or request for information about the ski. however, their ski area and the price are the positive things. alpine valley saturday beginners special price $20 inclusive of rental and lift is something which other ski area should envy.

It's a really great small resort to ski at in the winters. The snowmakers, liftees, park guys, groomers, customer service, and instructors are all nice, friendly, and very good at their jobs.

Highly recommended.

Skiing for a younger crowd is ideal and for northeast Ohio, fine if you keep your mountain-less reality in perspective. NO PROTECTIVE BARS on lift a MAJOR setback. We have expressed our safety concerns to staff, administration and to the owners online. I've gotten echoed concerns by staff, shoulder-shrugs from administration and no action from ownership. We have been going due to convenience of location for 5 years and have seen multiple children fall EVERY YEAR; lucky to be carted to the hospital for only broken bones. Each chair on the lift is already ready for the safety bars, PUT THEM ON!!!

If they put the bars on the lift, all other services would give it a 3-4.

Great little local ski resort. Nothing fancy, but well organized, and has all the basic needs to bring your family who might want to start the young ones off on the skiing or snowboarding "trail". Ha! I kill me! Includes a snow tubing area. Plenty of lessons and discount packages. All of the lifts have been functioning as long as I have been going here (about 4 times so far), as long as they are able to have or make enough snow (usually a bonus being in the heart of the snow belt) Not a whole lot of challenging for advanced skiers, but nice park set up, last time I went for snowboarding. Basic cafeteria style food, which is fine with kids or just to stop in for a bite and get back to slopes, but food was hot and they will make fresh if u want to wait. Not really a type "resort" for older or "romantic" couples, but a fun place, not far from downtown Cleveland, (about 40 minutes and closer for Eastsiders), to just shoot out to for a nice generally quiet, peaceful bit of fresh air, stress reliever and a little exercise to "boot"

Had a great time with my friends learning to ski. The 20 dollar Saturday special from 7-11 was perfect for us beginners. It included rental and lift ticket. But get there before 7 if you don't want to stand in line for an hour. I was there right at 7 and was able to get my ticket and rentals within a reasonable amount of time. However the rest of my group showed up at 730 and the line was out the door. There weren't enough ski poles for them to use so they had to wait for equipment. I think they should sell a more appropriate number of these passes to not bombard their rental staff and rental equipment.

Good place for beginners when first learning how to ski or snowboard. I recommend checking out the $20 Saturday night beginner special. The place is small though so can get boring after just a few hours. Be careful of leaving stuff sitting around for too long as well, as some stuff has been known to be taken. Frustrating that the bar isn't 21 and older as well! A lot of parents bring their kids up there.

I come here for a ski club every year and the trainer's and staff are really friendly and knowledgeable. The food is ski lodge food price and good food at that. The hills are more geared for beginners but there is a terrain park and woods. The terrain park is a good one mostly because of the varying types of features from easy boxes to street rails. This is a great place to go if you want a good time or are trying to learn to ski or snowboard.
