This place is great! They're super friendly and accommodating, plus the rooms are clean and spacious.
Was cheap. Lots of late night traffic in and out of rooms. Insulation beterrn rooms was not great. Floor had not been vavcuumed prior to arrival. Questionable stains on bed. Staff was polite.
Three stars at best. Suffice to say it's pretty run-down and doesn't seem warm or welcoming. I accidentally left behind some earrings there and when the person on the phone said she'd ask the cleaning staff to keep an eye out for them she didn't even think to ask for my name or contact information so you know -- we both know those earrings are gone and nobody's going out of their way to find them. In the end I'm not impressed but it also could have been much worse and it did the job. As always, the old adage is true: you get what you pay for.
The bed was too hard, the shower pressure was too low, and there were very large bugs that had to be killed (with very smelly corpses). What cemented the one star review was that they waited a good FIVE DAYS to charge the money to my card. We spent a good five hundred dollars to stay for two weeks and it was just not worth it. It only served to make me miss home more.
Haven't personally stayed here yet per se, but I know the owners and some of their management and they're all helpful and respectful people. Attracts a decent type of guests, clean rooms and I've seen the laundry area in the past so I know from witnessing it that everything is cleaned professionally. If I did need to stay somewhere in the area if my house was for whatever reason unavailable, Alpine Inn would be my first choice. Inexpensive and good quality.
Great friendly place they help us out every year for the annuall bahama brackets racing with good clean rooms at very affordable prices
it's actually a nice little placenot as sleepy looking as the outside portrays..it really all depends on your company.
Very nice for price. Stayed in King deluxe. Beds very comfortable along with the pillows and blankets.our stay there was delightful
We stay here every year, always have a good experience. Convenient location, Continental breakfast, etc
I've been staying at the Alpine Inn for years. The rooms need a makeover and the tv's for sure need to be upgraded. But it's cheap and quiet. It has all the necessities needed for me while I'm up here on business.
Recently stayed here last minute because of the price. It is what it is. Front counter was nice. I had to wait on a room from arriving early but they jumped on getting me a room even though i was early. Now the badafter checking in I DID NOT feel very comfortable there. It doesnt feel like its in a good area and looked like shady people walking around the area and outside the hotel. Not hotels fault for the area, but i wanted to mention it. Eventually got comfortable enough to sleepwith checking my vehicle numerous times before and after sleep. I am a bigger guy and the shower was impossible for me. It is 2 12inch tiles widethats smalllooked like recently remodeled bathrooms but failed with space in the shower but over did everything else. Check out was easy.
The room I stayed in was a single with a king and overall an enjoyable stay. I did have a problem with my room key not working when I came back at night, but the front desk was able to fix it. The breakfast was also a little disappointing but at least they had one.
For the price, the room was acceptable.
Pros: We were looking for an inexpensive room for a one night stay. The front desk staff was friendly at check-in and check-out. The air conditioning worked well and the bed was comfortable. The room was clean. The fridge in the room kept our drinks cold. The breakfast was limited to donuts, cereal, and english muffins, but was a nice touch for an Inn.
Cons: The room had a very musty smell, but we did not notice it after being in the room for awhile. The remote to the TV did not work, but that problem was quickly solved by getting a new one at the front desk. The phone in the room did not work. The bathroom fan was very loud and went on when the lights needed to be on in the bathroom. The toilet ran and was loud, but we made adjustments and were able to fix that. We stayed on the ground floor and the closest ice machine was on the second floor. There might have been an animal in our room on a previous stay. My daughter woke up with very itchy and red eyes.
*No hair dryer in the room, but there was a sign posted that one is available at the front desk. I anticipated this and brought my own. The sign also stated that if shampoo is needed, it is available at the front desk.
Very satisfied. Clean, comfortable and an amazing staff! (Jamie). Great room for the price.
Alpine Inn was very nice for a quick night stay. The room was very clean. The television was a bit outdated but functional. The room was very spacious so it wasn't cramped. Staff was decently friendly. Overall a very nice experience.
