They were in the process of renovating. Boxes of tiles and rolls of padding in each side doorway. On the upside, our room had new floors and a newer, comfortable mattress. Bathroom didn’t have any switched ventilation. Breakfast was what was expected, scrambled eggs, links, potatoes and biscuits with waffles, and the usual breakfast breads. Pool was clean, but can get extremely echoey. Overall, good value for the price paid.

The hotel agent was extremely polite. She offered us amenities that made our stay comfortable on the night before I had surgery at the local hospital. It was a peaceful experience and a great breakfast!

Very clean nice place. Breakfast was excellent. Only thing was the pool water was cold and there was not a hot tub in the pool area. Great stay! Sandra from Ohio

The hotel was very clean and had excellent rooms for my family and I .The people were very polite to the guest including us. Breakfast was amazing had many options for you to choose from. Staff and front desk were helpful to anything we needed. If you come to visit this, is the number one place I recommend for families!!!

My family and I had the opportunity to stay at this hotel and it was a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and welcoming and the rooms were colorful and quiet. We look forward to our next visit to the area so we can stay there again. Highly recommended.

A place has to be stellar to rate 5 stars, this place is undergoing new management and a complete overhaul so it's hard to judge. Nice warm pool, good free breakfast, clean rooms and beds. I will gladly come back as long as quality continues to improve.

Been coming here for years on business. A very functional hotel with a few nice amenities not available at this price level in this area. Between the AAA discount and the loyalty program, I've saved a bundle and will continue to use it (unless a wedding party has already beaten me to it).

REVISED: New interiors were a huge downgrade. Checked in this spring and immediately checked out. Tile floors have replaced carpeting. More like a hospital room. I'm using other hotels now

I was transferred here from another hotel and they did a very good job setting me up with a room quickly. The room was very nice and the service was incredible. I would recommend this place to anybody, the price is also very reasonable!

Just needed a place to sleep while passing through. The room was clean and the bed was comfy But I had a hard time sleeping since the room was connected to the adjacent room by a door with a gap underneath, plus the floors had no carpeting, so I could hear absolutely every sound the other guests made. It was already very late when I checked in but they were talking loudly ever since they walked into their room. After I finally managed to get to sleep, they woke me up with their obnoxious laughter at 5 am Luckily I am a heavy sleeper or I would not have been able to sleep at all. Can't really recommend this hotel unless you get lucky and don't have rude neighbors.

The location is convenient for travelling to the city or transit stops while still providing quiet, peaceful nights. The rooms are nice and well kept. The service of the staff is wonderful and the pet friendliness of the hotel is the best part!

Upon first impression, it would appear that the establishment is up to the par for the demographic it is located in. In short, The rooms are not complete, i.e. they still need finishing cosmetically nor are the life safety devices (sprinkler systems device and fire/smoke alarms) fully functional, at least in room 157.
As compensatory relief the staff upgraded us to a suite at no extra charge. We accepted only to find it also still needed to be completed. We also notice construction materials in the hallways that suggested the room(s) were being repaired. My family and I did NOT complete the stay overnight and was furthermore was forced to resign for the remainder of the night with a relative.

Ladies that served breakfast are really nice. For people today will stay for more than 2 days can have go to the hotel across the street that is from same owner and try different breakfast. Room service was good and pool was ok.

They're liars they've changed ownership and they've closed down the Jacuzzi as well as happy hour. There prices went up an for what the hotel is in shambles. Stairs falling apart hair on pillows holes in walls on patio. Light fixture hanging down in room. As well as no headboard on one of the beds room. And they're false advertising it's not the clubhouse inn anymore it's called the Chicago Club. Had I known this I would have never reserved a room here. I give them a zero but you could only go by stars

After a long night driving from Maine to Chicago IL I arrived at the hotel at 6:30 am. I went in to see if I could use the restroom. The front desk clerk , I wish I could remember his name, he let me check in!! My reservation wasn't until 3pm! I was thrilled! So instead of sleeping in my car I got to sleep in their oh so soft and comfortable beds! Thank you so much! Staff is great, Free breakfast was great, safe location, 30 minutes to the city, perfect! Thank you again!
