I owned a home and auto policy from this branch. I lost my job and got behind on payments, but I would never let it get to the point where my insurance would lapse. I made a payment to bring myself current on my auto policy. or so I thought, based on what the employees at this branch told me. My girlfriend was also witness to this as she heard the phone conversation. Not only that, but my father, who is the one that made the payment to help me out, also confirmed with the representative that the payment would bring me current. I was very surprised to find out that they ended up cancelling my auto policy regardless, without notifying me no less.

I spoke to the reps at this office and asked for the specific dates on which they claimed to have contacted me. The representative couldn't even find any records of contact with me other than PRIOR to the date the payment was made to them.

As a result my auto insurance lasped and I have to pay more now because of it.

There is a good ending to the story however. As a result of not wanting to be a customer of these horrible people I also switched my home insurance over from them. I went from paying $2000 a year to $1500 a year, AND I HAVE BETTER COVERAGE TO BOOT! Not only that but my new insurance company didn't charge me for the sq. ft. of my GARAGE as living space like Allstate did. According to Allstate since my home is split-level and there's a living area on the same level as my garage they calculate that as livable space. My new insurance company that that was a joke and my new agent literally said "yeah they do things weird over there".

Essentially don't work with these vampires if you can help it.
