Don’t forget to set your clocks back. The bad news is that it’s going to get dark earlier. The good news is that you get an extra hour of sleep!

It looks as if there will not be a balloon launch today, however, there are still lots of activities happening at Balloon Fiesta Park. Traffic is not bad! There's also the Gem, Mineral and Jewlery Expo happening at Expo New Mexico. Or check out Old Town for great eates and shopping!! https://twitter.com/balloonfies…/status/1048930296333139969…

I just have to say we have been incredibly happy so far. Our first day here we were pleasantly welcomed by Julie, Delinda and Jerry. All were very nice, professional and extremely accommodating as our plans are to stay long term. I’ve read reviews about the hiway noise and “bad neighborhood”, please don’t let this detour your stay here. It’s an extremely convenient location as everything is very close. If you want to stay where there is no traffic noise go to the mountains. The neighborhood really isn’t that bad but we just moved from Northeast Las Vegas, NV (not the best part of town) and I feel safer here by far! The gates and security is for your safety and peace of mind. I’m glad it’s gated! The grounds are beautiful and I have to say their maintenance crew do an amazing job keeping the park as beautiful as it is. I highly recommend this KOA as we call it our home!

Albuquerque KOA is a great park, although we only stayed 2 nights it was a great stop, at a centrally located location. The staff were friendly and offered advice on places to see in the area. The entire facility was immaculate, including the restrooms, showers and laundry areas. While there I experienced a mishap while loading my toad on its dolly. Within minuted the manager John responded and began assisting me. The office also provided the number for a local mobile RV repair service, ACE, who also responded to assist. With the help of other campers as well, all was made right, and all refused any payment. John, the manager of the park, advised any appreciation could be shown by placing a donation in the KOA camping for ill children jar, which we did. Thank you John and Linda, the park managers, as well as their staff, and including the owner of ACE RV and Trailer Repair and the other campers who assisted.

My wife had an a medical emergency. She had to be hospitalized for 3 days. Not only they extended our stay at the same site. They called the next two KOA reversations and with a full refund on deposits. That’s why I have been using KOA for 40+ years. People here are great. Five stars are not enough.

We were only there overnight as we traveled East, but the facilities were very nice. Unfortunately did not have time to enjoy the “perks” of the Journey status of this KOA. The KOA Journey sites are the ones you hope to spend a few days enjoying all the extras provided.

Don't get me wrong, I love KOA's.. Like most I've been to, the Central Albuquerque KOA is nice. Well managed, CLEAN, affordable, full of accommodations, etc.

FYI future visitor beware, This location is right next to I-40 and in such a terrible neighborhood that the place is ringed with high fence & barbwire and the front gate is closed at 8pm (there is a night watchman @ gate)

YUP, probably my fault for not actually looking at the map to confirm their location and after a long day driving it certainly served it's purpose. We only stayed a night then moved on.

Stayed 2 nights to take time to see old town Albuquerque. Great RV Park. We were placed close to the office, pool and hot tub and enjoyed them all. Showers were roomy, laundry room was clean and organized. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. Enjoyed meeting the park cat. Our dog Lou enjoyed the dog park which was clean and well maintained. Would stay again.

This is a beautiful and immaculate campground. Very clean and organizedsuper polite staff. Plenty of wifi options - not super fast but better than many other places we've stayed. Adequate laundry facilities (could use better AC in there). Easy to find. Looking aroundvery nicely kept campers and RV's. We are only here for the night passing through but would highly recommend.
