My Pomeranian ate an entire bag of Hershey kisses and had a racing heart, she couldn’t walk, she was puking everywhere, and whimpering. Considering it was a Sunday, no vets were opening. We called this emergency vet and they pretty much just told us we were SOL and that they wouldn’t help us because we haven’t visited a vet in Bloomington before. They told us to go to Indy, which was impossible for us at the time. They were going to just let our dog die because we didn’t have some kind of membership with another vet. Luckily we knew someone in town who was willing to help. Otherwise my dog would be dead and they couldn’t care less.

When my dog ate dark chocolate late one night, I called Airport Animal. They fit me in and had me bring both my dogs into the clinic, because we didn't know at the time only one was the culprit.

They were professional, friendly and warm, and the offices were clean. The bill obviously wasn't fun, but it was less than I would have thought for an emergency night-time visit for two dogs. Thank you so much for helping my puppies through the Great Dark Chocolate Incident!

Emergency Vet Clinic. Very good clinic. I have had several pets at the clinic over the years & have always been treated with compassion & vets have been great with my pets.

I brought my puppy in one Sunday evening and overall had a great experience. When I first arrived I had to wait in the lobby for a short while (which I completely expected; it was a Sunday night at an emergency vet and they clearly had some patients there that were worse off than mine). Even while I was in the lobby I received great attention from the reception staff. They had me fill out all my intake paperwork and asked me lots of questions to try and expedite the process. Then my puppy started throwing up in their lobby. Embarrassed, I tried to clean it up myself with some tissues. I could tell the staff was having a busy evening and didn't want to bother them. The male receptionist (I forget his name) immediately took notice and insisted I not worry about it and came over with a mop. He was very kind! As soon as an exam room came available we were seated and shortly after seen by Dr. Gust. He was absolutely wonderful! He was very calm and thorough in him exam of my girl and thoughtfully listened to everything I had to say about what was going on. After his full check over he told me that her clinical signs indicated that she ingested a certain type of plant that had her feeling a little funny, but overall expected her to be fine. He didn't judge me at all, especially when I burst into tears from pure relief (full disclosure, I'm an insane dog mom). He offered to run some tests if I wanted some extra peace of mind but told me he really didn't think it was necessary. He told me to just get her a bag of cheetohs on the way home and let her sleep it off. In the end I paid $93 for the exam fee (a very fair price for an emergency clinic!) and for total peace of mind. Worth it in my opinion! And although I hope I never have to come back I'm glad to know that I have this place as a go to if another emergency comes up.

Fast, friendly and they took great care of our dog when we had an emergency. The rates were not exorbitant considering the time of night, either.

This place is a joke. Our dog got sick over the weekend and this was the nearest place. After looking him over and realizing we couldn't afford the treatment they sent him home. We found out on Monday when our Vet office opened he could have died. So I'm saying this if your not financially able don't send your dog there.

My dog was injured on a Saturday evening (needed stitches). All vets we called told us it would be a minimum of $1000 because it was an "emergency." I drove an hour and a half to Airport Animal Emerging-center because when I called them they said they could not quote me a price over the phone without seeing him. I thought that was a good sign. Some friends had also taken their dog to this vet for an emergency and was not charged an astronomical fee. The office was very clean, maybe one of the cleanest vets I have been to and staff extremely friendly. We did have a wait but they were really busy. I expected to have a wait at an emergency clinic anyway, just like an emergency room. Plus, our issue was not life-threatening. My dog received excellent care and I thought their fee was reasonable - in fact I was pleasantly surprised with my bill. My local vet would have probably charged me just as much or more during normal office hours. I highly recommend this place.

Our blue heeler loves to injure himself, so we've taken quite a few trips to this particular emergency vet. They always take good care of the old doggo.

Fast, friendly, caring, and thorough. This is the best place to go if your veterinarian's office is closed.

While I can't review the facility in itself because I did not actually visit, I can review their staff. My pitbull had a bloated belly, and was very gassy. I decided to call in, and get an opinion, worrying that it would possibly be GDV. While Leigh made it known that if it were GDV, it is time sensitive, but she also told me what signs to look for as a sure thing to bring him in. She didn't automatically say bring him in, as you expect most emergency vets to do to make that automatic $400. She was honest with me, and made me feel relaxed in the situation. She assured me they were there for me at any point of the night, and to call back/come in if necessary. She truly was wonderful, and handled my hypochondriac moment very well. I'm sure I sounded like a crazy woman, but she never made me feel as though I was crazy. Pluto the pitbull is feeling fine today, and thank goodness it was just some bad gas. If there is ever an emergency with my fur babies, this is where I will be. You can tell they truly care, just by speaking on the phone, so I'm more than sure they'd be wonderful during a visit. Thank you, Leigh!!!

Everyone we ecountered here was extremely friendly and kind to us and our fur baby. They made us and our Bimini feel comfortable and way less anxious than we were when we walked in. Would definetly recommend, great place.

My dumbass roommate brought lillies into our home recently and my cat got into them, so we made a trip to this hospital. The woman over the phone was able to quote me a fair price for the visit, and while noone likes to think about money when your pet's on the line, if you're poor you know how difficult this can be. I was in hysterics the entire time but the staff was very kind and helped quickly get Sam diagnosed/into bloodwork as soon as I walked in the door. Dr. Murphy was very kind and to the point about which tests to run and how much it would end up costing re: treatment. I'm not even sure where these rudeass reviews are coming from because the entire staff was professional and compassionate the entire visit.
Sam's doing well and back to her usual self so I'm eternally grateful for this clinic. Would absolutely come back if need be god forbid.
