This has always been one of my favorite restaurants but we normally go to the one in Goodyear. This location is ok but it could use some customer service upgrades the server we had came off as rude and really pushy. It didn't help that he didn't speak clearly so we all struggled to communicate. That's my only negative about my experience otherwise everything else was good. Oh and make sure your entire party is there or they won't seat you until everyone has arrived

The food was delicious and our waitress was very polite and helpful/understanding of the fact we had 3 kids all under 7.
Now they had a kids menu but it had 3 items and everyone that worked there except our waitress(she was great) seemed to be annoyed with the fact that we brought 3 kids the manager was probably the most rude of them all the staff at this place is terrible rude snobby if it weren't for our specific waitress I would have walked out mid meal without paying. great place for a date just don't bring your kids

The place is pretty good. The staff is top-notch but the owner doesn't seem to treat the staff with respect. Overall, the staff suck it up and welcome the costumer with a smile. I give the place 4.5 star. Just wish I could help the staff.

Went here for the first time and ordered to go. Ordered a spicy tuna roll and vegas roll both were great! The man at the front knew my order and name as soon as I walked in and offered a complimentary soft drink. Food was ready promptly and he told me about their happy hour. I will be returning. Was only there for about 5 min but there was a great vibe and outstanding customer service.

The cook puts on a show preparing your food. The night I was there, the customers had to rapidly get away from the table/grille because the flames were shooting everywhere. The cook was throwing shrimp into customers' mouths and wouldn't take no for an answer when I told him I was allergic to shrimp. I told him if he throws the shrimp at me, I would throw it right back him. Prices were for the rich and the food wasn't very good. All the people that was with me renamed the place using a curse word in place of Ah-So.

Restaurant has nice scenery. We came in as a group of 4, and a family Of 5 was seated and served at the grill before us. Caucasian Older bald male went to every table in the restaurant but ours. I assume he was a Manager but watched our table like a hawk. I will not return. Ps. Black customer that Notices customer service even frm management.. Ariel the cook was THE BEST EVER!! MADE THE EXPERIENCE BETTER

Food was so delicious, service stunk, and dirty bathrooms.. pretty much what everyone else said. Not sure why they haven't improved on the negatives since they are all the same on Google and Yelp. Had the edamame, sweet tofu, and tempura veggies. Group had sushi rolls and lettuce wraps, everyone was happy with the food. Sake bomber $7, good stuff!! Will definitely be back but more aware that service takes longer. No wait on a Saturday at 7 in the dining room.

The food is alright, but if you walk in with other people (4 kids under the age of 4 who dont eat, so basically 4 adults) it doesnt matter if you get your own check. They will charge you gratuity. And they wont even let you know. How kind. The rolls are very small for the price you pay. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

The Teppanyaki cooking show was very cool! If you haven't been here, you are definitely missing out on a neat experience. As for the food, it was a bit pricey and average at best. Still a highly recommended date night spot!

New management came in to change things for the worst. We were regulars there and always loved the place until now. We are never going back because of how bad the manager named Seth treated us. We ordered two "Shrimp tempura" rolls and what they did was make ONE roll, split in in half and charge us for TWO. When we complained, Seth (the manager) showed nothing but rudeness, bad hospitality and bad language. He said that's the way they make rolls now and he won't change it. All I said was "Well thank you for letting us know just so we don't bother to come back"

The food here is really good, the service is good also. It is a slow and relaxed environment. The food is AMAZING, one of my favorite places to eat asian food.

I would say it is not too great for people with small kids, there is not a kids menu and everything is so huge or not kid type food that they usually get some of our rice and that is it. It also takes a very long time. Plan for at least an hour and usually much more if you come here.

I also don't eat eggs, and the rice comes with eggs and even when you tell people it is often hard to have an egg free meal.

TIP: Get the more expensive beef, it is MUCH better and not too much more.also get a two meat dish, some of them are just $1 more and you get a lot more meat.
