Decided to go and check out all the talk. They, by far, are really great food. The draw back is the small parking lot and if you go doing peak times, you are guaranteed a wait. The food is worth the wait.

This place serves the best guacamole I have tasted. Combined with one of their cheese crisps, a side of guacamole makes a light meal for two. Convenient to downtown Tucson. Highly recommended.

We went with another couple for lunch! The place was jammed, but when we got our food, I could understand why they were so busy! They have excellent food! they need a bigger location. It is now my new favorite place in Tucson to eat!

Loved it. Some of the best Mexican ever. The place is very well established and very popular. You wait for your table. I don't like to wait, but this was worth it. My Chimichanga was perfect, I loved it. I could eat here over and over. If you have a chance try this place.

Absolutely horrible! How they can call themselves a Mexican restaurant is beyond me. Service was good and the place was moderately clean but if there was an option to rate with fewer than one star I definitely would have. Not even sure how to describe the taste of the food, but if this help, I found the gum that I swallowed on the way home. If you are looking for Mexican food, keep looking. Not a place that I would recommend to anyone, ever, under any circumstance.

First time walking in and it is very colorful inside and the atmosphere is great. The food pretty good. My enchiladas were good but the sauce had a bit of an after taste. Beans were great though! My brother's burro was very good too!

Amazing. Great food. Beautiful dining room. Huge helpings. Our server was really helpful picking out and modifying a dish because one of our party is allergic to Cilantro.The staff really make this place.

Went in with 7 people. Was told 1.5 hour wait. Actually turned out we only waited for about 25-35 min. Food came relatively quick. Great food. Steaming on the plate; don't burn your tongue. Server was great as well. Great price for good food. Paid about $45 (with tip) for two entrees and alcohol for two people.

I have been coming here for years. This place has been in existence since the 50s. There's a reason for that. All the food is great. Order the presidential plate and you will be full all day and have the greatest nap of your life.

If you go in the evening have a light snack because the wait time can be over an hour. They also let you order alcohol beverages as you wait. The Margarita's are awesome. Recommend the mango or tamarindo to satisfy your drunken needs.

If you are in Tucson and you have some time on your hands, this restaurant is worth a visit. There is usually a wait as it is very busy w many regulars who the staff all know by name. Food is very good which brings people back despite long wait times. Beans and rice are excellent. All the dishes are top notch. If you're hungry, try the presidential plate.

Fantastic! I've had the green chili beef and the beef tamales and the guacamole and they're all delicious. The decorations and atmosphere are nice too. The place was nearly full at 9:30pm, which means everyone in Tucson seems to know this is the place to be!

But beware, there might be a long wait. I once tried to go here on Friday evening for dinner and there was a 90 minute wait. Another time I tried to come on a Sunday at 3pm and it was a 60 minutes wait. You can't make reservations or put your name in via phone, you have to show up in person and put your name on the list. I suggest calling and asking about the estimated wait time before you try to eat here. (If you want similar quality food and atmosphere with less of a wait, I recommend the Guadalajara Mexican Grill on Broadway.) Due to the extreme wait times and lack of reservations, I can't give Mi Nidito 5 stars. But once you get in, it's absolutely a 5-star experience.
