  This office started off fantastic However, the staff NEVER calls you back for test results. They have you schedule an appointment only to find out your results are not ready. They truly waste your time here. Both doctors are alright but do not say much and try to get on to the next patient as quick as possible. They often forget to call in prescriptions and if they hand you a hand-written one it is not legible. Overall, not impressed after a year and a half of being a patient here.

  I had chosen to follow someone from my previous office to this practice and it was the worst choice! My first visit I was there for over 3 hours. 2 weeks later I had heard nothing from the office regarding my prescription refills or my referrals for specialty physicians. When I called the office, I spoke with a woman who was beyond rude, continuously telling me what I did and didn't need although my insurance company told me specifically otherwise. Her argumentative attitude was uncalled for so I requested to speak with a supervisor. She told me she owned the practice (Shariffa Gunawardene), continued on to tell me I needed to find another practice, and hung up on me! I called back repeatedly and she purposely ignored my calls, sending me to a voicemal after 2 rings. I called back a few hours later and spoke to another woman asking for the name of the woman, she refused to tell me. It has been 35 days and I am still without any response, referrals, or refills on medications I have been taking uninterrupted for years.

  Dr. Gunawardene is a great doctor. Nice guy who takes the time to listen to your concerns and then answer in a way that is thorough and easy to understand. And he really knows his stuff. Would without hesitation recommend Dr. Gunawardene to friends and family.

  Saw Dr G for a new patient visit but it felt like i knew him my whole life. He explained things to me so that i could understand my condition and the next steps in treatment. i think it is important to find a good doctor and find one that you can be comfortable with Dr.G meets those requirements and more.
