They employees is always loosing the time on their truck company . Taking on the phone across from West Palm beach airport . specially a black officer really fat with no hair at all . He always on that parking lot several report has been made but the officer still wasting government money. I have couples of videos . Very sad for a government agency .

I visited PBC Animal Care on Nov. 25, 2017 to adopt a dog. Our male dog was euthanized recently because of Malignant Lymphoma.
We also have a 12 year old dog which I adopted from Animal Control 12 years ago. She’s really acted depressed since our male died.
I looked and met several dogs because I didn’t want a dog who was TOO active because of our Sweetie. Finally I asked a few gals out in the kennel and told them what I was looking for. I was thinking maybe a 3 or 4 year old. Each one pointed me toward a 6 yr old male dog named Leo. I was hesitant because of Leo’s age and he was a heart worm survivor from a few years ago. The gals out there told me of what a nice dog he was and that he had been there longer than most. Well when they showed me Leo I was shocked to see that he looked a lot like Sweetie.
Long story to an end Leo has been here less than 2 weeks and has fully integrated into our life. I couldn’t ask for a more perfect dog!! I think Saturday was our lucky day.both ours and Leo’s . I think he is in seventh heaven. I hope he can live a long life with us and has already brought sunshine in to Sweetie’s life.

Everyone at the shelter was so helpful and very kind to me. I found two stary pitbulls and and after calling every no kill sheter from Miami to West Palm I had no choice but to bring them to animal control. I as dreading it because I know that being pitbulls, their chances of being adopted are not high. I had kept these dogs for a week at the animal hospital I work at while I desperately tried to find a home for them and in that time I grew quite attached to them. I had driven from Coral Spring to Big Dog Ranch and Peggy Adams where I was turned away. I knew I would be big I wanted to do everything in power to give these dogs a fighting chance. It was devastating to think that they may never get a chance at having a loving home so when I arrived at animal control I was very upset. The people who helped me were not only kind to me, but more important, were kind to the dogs (when I was at Big Dog Ranch and Peggy Adams I was not treated with a lot of compassion.) I am heavily involved with rescue organizations and actually used to work at a no kill shelter myself so I know how hard that job can be and I know what kind of stress those people deal with day in and day out (hence why the staff at most shelters aren't the friendliest) so I really appreciated it that they took the time to show me and the dogs some compassion. I'm praying that these dogs get adopted but unfortunately the situation I was in of finding unsterilized pit bulls running loose, happens all too often and good people, like those who work at Palm beach animal control, do all they can to help but it will never be enough as long as people continue to buy and breed jobs.

I visited this place yesterday, Saturday August 19th 2017. I was disgusted by the way they keep there dogs. The kennels were dirty with waste and piss. The dogs had little to no water it was emensly hot! A huge lack of air conditioning or fans for the dogs. A lack of staff cleaning or doing much of anything. The cat rooms smelled and had litter box's in desperate need of cleaning I'm gonna do something about this place it is a disgrace

God bless this organization with their adoption and trap/neuter/release policy. We were so inspired by the count down to zero campaign. They made it very easy to catch and drop off feral cats.

Thanks to this wonderful shelter, the stray cat I found while visiting was neutered, vaccinated and given flea medication. They released him back in Boca Raton, where I found him. They are amazing and truly have tremendous hearts and are helping the cause to "find them all a home."

This is the only county shelter in South FL that takes in and adopts out bunnies. They may also adopt out guinea pigs, not sure. For a dog and cat only facility to willing to put into any resources but euthanasia for these bunnies is commendable. However, there appears to be a lack of training among staff and volunteers where false information was unintentionally provided to interested adopters. Also, no one appears to know anything about bunny care and diet. Again, this needs to be addressed by proper training. It's a good place to adopt if you have previous knowledge of the care for the pet you are looking for and know what to look for.

Palm Beach Animal Control saved this amazing American Bulldog who we have now adopted via Peggy Adams Rescue. He is a fantastic, smart and loving dog. Thanks for rescuing him and getting him medical care.

Most of the staff are nice and kind. It is a pathetic situation for the poor animals discarded there.
But, I adopted a cat there and was told she is about 4 years years old. I specifically said that I wanted an older cat, not a kitten, because I have a Senior cat. My Vet says this one I adopted is a young cat, hardly 4. How can the Animal Care Vets not recognize a kitten from an Adult 4 year old?. She is upsetting my Senior with her constant overactive activity, that expected of a kitten. She does not like to be picked up or cuddled, and uses her mouth when you try to pet her any place but her head. She came here the first day with a terrible cold which my 15 year old cat caught. It cost me near $300 because BOTH of them needed to be treated.
May have to take her back, but will take her to Peggy Adams. I understand that you take your chances when you adopt from any shelter, but I can handle just so much. Need a cat I can get near if she needs tx, and had hoped for a more affectionate one. My heart breaks that it is just not working out.
