Wonderful experience! The staff was amazingly accommodating from the valet, to the front desk to house keeping. The clincher was when they handed my wife a rose on our way out.
My husband and I stayed here this summer. There's a great relaxed and modern spa like atmosphere. I'm not sure what it actually is but the lobby always smelled like pretty strong, but pleasant cologne. I loved the fact that this resort suits right on the beach. The pool area was really nice, never terribly busy. Most of the time it felt like my own private pool and spa.. that was pretty cool. I did order some drinks from a pool attendant..I could tell this was something he was not accustomed to, it took a little while but he accommodated us. The rooms are clean and well appointed. Staff throughout the establishment were very polite and helpful. I did get a spa treatment. It was a very relaxing service. I will definitely stay here again!
Nasy rooms and overpriced. Great food and location. Just no maintenance of building in terms of cleaning it. Elevators super scary. Food delicious staff nice. Paper thin walls heard dogs barking all day and night. Plus could hear every word and noise neighbors made. Terrible. Not happy wont be back.
The location and beach access were superb! Front desk staff was kind and helpful and made us feel welcome. The room was a little lackluster for the resort prices we paid. The bathroom in our garden view room was quite small and dark. Probably because dark brown tile was used throughout. The room was clean and the bed satisfactory. We attended a wedding which was gorgeous, well run, and the staff seems very attentive during the event. Overall, the place was very nice but not quite worth the amount spent. Almost, but not quite.
I visited my in-laws who were staying at this hotel. We had lunch with them on the patio area after swimming in the ocean on their private beach. My husband and I split the fish and chips and it was because good. The portion size was huge, so both my husband and I got 2 fried fish and lots of fresh homemade fries. We would definitely go back. The only thing that was slightly off was how show the elevators were, but that's about it.
Fantastic ocean views and beach access. Clean, spacious rooms with nice amenities, nice bar. If you're afraid of elevators, though, be careful - I got stuck in one for about five minutes.
The service staff was incredible and the private beach is second to none. Food exceptional as well. Minor complaints: Phone in room didn't work, valet is mandatory and $26 - we went during quiet season so we paid for them to park it 10 meters away. Other than that, fantastic experience. Cannot emphasize the quality of the beach enough.
The staff does there best to help but are hindered by a higher power we discovered to be the owner.
Ignorant in the ways of customer service, he has successfully driven away staff and managing companies leaving the hotel in a constant state of unease. We were fortunate the wedding held there was pulled together by bright, accommodating staff.
If you want to stay at a great hotel with quality customer service, this could be the place. As long as they aren't hurried home or scared away to save a penny
My overall experience at Tideline resort and spa was very unprofessional and unorganized, checking in took longer than it should and my room wasn't always up to par mind you it was my anniversary and it seem like things just didn't go as the advertised on the website we booked for The romantic getaway and the things that really blew my mind was the fact that the breakfast was not advertise the way that they said it would be for example in the romantic getaway it said that breakfast was either going to be brought to your room or you come down to the restaurant which is called Brandon neither of that happened we decided to go downstairs for breakfast and let's just say the breakfast that came with the package wasn't actually breakfast we had to actually go to the front desk to see if breakfast was included in the package we payed 300 plus a night for because for some reason it didn't show that it was included with our package the front desk people apparently never herd of our package it was just ridiculous do not believe all the hype this hotel is horrible it's so dark and gloomy I would never recommend a couple to go to Tideline resort and spa for a getaway. My room wasn't always cleaned ,like we left around 8 o'clock in the morning we come back and my bed is not fixed I don't have no new set of towels I was really upset they did offer wine and yes I took it but I still did not enjoy my trip my overall experience at Tideline resort and spa would be a 2.5 I wouldn't recommend it to any couple to go and relax I should've stayed at a Marriott or Hilton.
Great staff!! Great drinks! Awesome pool! I love this place! Very relaxing!!

I attended a wedding ceremony the courtyard facing the beach. The building was tall enough to provide a shade over the whole ceremony (4pm) and a nice breeze flowed through. A clear glass sound barrier between the beach and the courtyard allowed us to hear the speaker as the ceremony took place. The second floor was a little hot due to the air flow from outside. It was not the hotel's fault since it was about 90° outside, however, the inside air conditioner temperature should have been adjusted to better suit the event. The third level where cocktail hour was catered was also a uncomfortable due to the weather, but again, I think it should have been a lot cooler in the room to compensate. The food was delicious, set up was lovely, and the waiters/waitresses were courteous. Hors d'oeuvres were replenished shortly after them finishing. I especially liked that since the wedding party had to stay behind for pictures. They didn't have to worry about the food being all done when they got there. The mobile bar served a light, but lovely rum punch. I think more than 2 pitchers for a little over 100 people should have been prepared/brought out at a time though. Other than the punch, the drink service was fast considering the amount of people present. Lastly, the ballroom where the wedding reception was held had a stunning view gazing out on the shore. A full course meal was served: Soft bread and honey butter for table appetizers, salad with an oil and vinegar dressing, the roasted beef could have had more flavor throughout (some pieces were more seasoned than others), and the salmon was so juicy (and to die for!). Dessert consisted of a bread pudding and a scoop of ice cream. I was a little disappointed that spoons were not on the table so the ice cream could have been eaten properly. The bread pudding was light, fluffy and delicious. Overall, the venue was perfect for the event. There was plenty space to mingle, hold a conversation, order a drink, take pictures in a blow up photo booth, and still be uninterrupted while sitting to eat. The glass window panels and high ceiling made the room feel spacious as well. Great venue to hold a wedding reception or other special function.
Way to go CHAZ! She is awesome. We had a rough start to a weekend elsewhere. Booked here and within 10 minutes she upgraded, accomodated, wrote a card, gave a balcony and sent champagne! A++ here and thank you to Jay also!
