The decor and architecture of the restaurant channels historic Spanish styles with a bright Mexican influence. The restaurant overlooks the rest of the resort and the mountains, which is rather picturesque. The food and drinks are solid, but not necessarily worth the price. Really you're paying for the ease of staying on the resort grounds instead of driving five to ten minutes into town.

Possibly not a normal menu choice but I had the best steak of my life at this restaurant. All their food is normally spectacular but it can get busy/noisy. Go earlier in the evening or sit outside if that's an issue. (Reservations do help.)

Decent wet burrito, a little pricey, and the staff seemed a bit overworked during the dinner rush at the drive through.

The Chips and salsa come with a special salt spice on them that was rather good and made me greatly appreciate the free refills haha

Margaritas are served in 15 Oz glass with only 1 shot! We kindly said we weren't liking the margaritas and they were too sweet, but the bartender couldn't care less. We paid 20 bucks for 2 crappy drinks. We order the quesdillas with chicken for 16 bucks as an appetizer and it was tiny as hell and I've had better samples at costco. For a 5 star resort the service at this restaurant sucks. Our server was the only good thing that came from this experience. I can see why the average rating for this place is only 3 stars.

We are repeat customers. We have always had a good meal and good time here. Tonight Victor was our waiter, he had such a wonderful spirit. The ambience was so lovely; beautiful string lights, great live music good food and drinks. We ordered the "perfect" margaritas on the tangy lime side and they were delicious. I had the chicken mole, my husband had tacos. We both really enjoyed our meals. Warm tortilla chips were served with a smokey salsa & pico de gallo. We just love our visits here from Canada.

We love the La Quinta Resort, we love the outside patio, shops, flowers, etc. so we decided to eat at the Adobe Grill. There were seven of us and we could not have been more disappointed in the bad and I mean bad food. Six of us left our food on our plates and the one person who had a salad said she had eaten there before and knew the food was bad. The ambience was lovely, the chips were good but when those grease soaked taco shells filled with dried meat came out, well, what can we say. My cheese enchiladas were cold on the inside (the cheese was hard) and it was wrapped in some sort of paste mixture. The side dishes were a couple of tablespoons of rice or beans, anyway I am writing this so that maybe the management can make some changes or have some quality control at this resort restaurant. Sorry, we won't be going back anytime soon.
