I used to come here a lot when it was free to enter on Fridays, now it's like $7, which is dumb because the food and drinks are overpriced. I have gotten to know some of the bouncers so I guess they're not too bad. They do discriminate with tattoos and certain shoes, why?? It's not a nightclub, it's a bar! DJ Mixx plays variety of music but only plays 30 seconds of it until he switches big time. DJ Rome plays good music at first but the last hour it's nothing but old ghetto stuff from like 2004. Definitely have good memories here!
I was visiting from Texas and they kicked me out because I had on a cowboy hat they told me they don't allow hats after 11 p.m. because of gang related issues with hats I don't know any gangs that wear cowboy hats on top of that their drinks are water down and service was terrible had to wait 30 minutes just to get one margarita and atmosphere is very vulgar when you make such a broad dress code policy you in turn actually discriminate against those that are actually dressed acceptable
Fun and loud atmosphere, decent Tex-mex. my carnitas was fairly bland while others in my party really liked their food. Fast and courteous service, especially since I was here while a rather crazy local event was going on at nearby hotels.
One of the worst restaurants I’ve been to in Rosemont. This restaurant seemed great to begin when we came. 40 minute wait was no big deal when we got there so we figured we would have drinks while waiting.. when I went to grab a drink at the bar, every stool was full and there was only one spot where I could speak to the bartenders. Unfortunately it was right where servers walked through and I was told very sternly to get out of the walkway and that I couldn’t stand there. Even though, I was ordering tequila shots and communicating with a bartender at the time. I noticed that the 9.75 for each of the shots we were charged was very steep but thought nothing of it. After our wait, we were seated and found out that tequila shots were on special for 6 dollars. So we were overcharged for our drinks earlier in the night.. they accommodated by giving our party of 6, only three shots. We ordered our food, our waitress was great.. but a server knocked our “complimentary shot” all over one of our guests. He was great and re replaced it for free, along with an apology that wasn’t needed because accidents do happen. Great! Food comes and my plate has a hair in the rice and beans. I didn’t even bother to complain and didn’t eat at all from that side of my plate. After ordering two buckets of beers, I stepped out and told the host that I was going to have a cigarette.. when I came back, they told me that I had to pay a 5 dollar fee for cover. I explained to the host that I had a table already and they never offered me a stamp. She still told me to pay 5 dollars. When I told this woman that I had hot food waiting at my table and I’m not paying 5 dollars when I have a table already, she told me that “I’m gonna need you to calm down”. We were told to just go to our tables after having the man beside her give us stamps. This place is awful and has some of the worst customer service in all of rosemont. There is no communication in this entire establishment and it shows. This experienced ruined two birthdays that we were celebrating and I will never recommend this place to anybody. Your staff is awful and your bartenders need to do their jobs better when they are meant to follow the daily specials and clearly over charge you. I expect so much more from a high traffic establishment. I’m someone who has worked customer service my entire life and understands that mistakes happen.. but 5 problems in one visit.. management needs to get on top of this.
Fire your Thursday night dj. He's an ass hole. He's old af. He plays an average of 2 good song out of 100. It's Chicago, hire someone with a slight more taste. I will spend way more time at your bar if it had better music.
Dj wasn’t the best. $10 shots that were actually 1/2 shots plus a $10 cover not to mention $2 for tap water. Last time I went was almost a year ago and it was a good experience. But now the place went down the drain not going there again and don’t recommend it.
Eh really great margaritas. The nachos were ok. The food is just ok. The wait staff was nice but not like amazing. They were really making a good effort though. I've been to better restaurants in that quad.
Ordered through Uber eats before checking the ratings. Ordered the fajita steak plate with skirt steak and got what looks like a ground beef burrito. Terribly disappointed. Also never got the refried beans that were supposed to come with it and instead got the side order of black beans we paid an additional charge for. NOT worth the money and items we paid for were never received, namely the corn tortillas and the refried beans, as well as the meat described.
The waitstaff was inattentive and slow and my food was terrible. I have never felt the need to provide a review before but this was just so bad all around that I needed to share.
DJ was fun. Crowd was fun to watch. There were some dancing happening which I loved. The margarita was tasty and well priced. I would come back to try food here.
The food and drinks are good. Prices are reasonable. And depending on which DJ is there on the weekends, the entertainment will be great!!!
HORRIBLE bar, aka WANNABE Club. Staff are extremely rude & unprofessional. A woman staff member physically shoved me (into a crowd of people) b/c I was waiting for that crowd to move so I could get out of her way, & she did not want to wait 2 seconds. Unreal. Talk about equality. Pshh. The music is horrible & cheesy, I heard this stuff in college a decade ago.
I was hoping to give this place 5 stars, went here for dinner for a friend's birthday had a massive fish bowl drink that cost almost 30 dollars but tastes like kool aid was very skimpy on the vodka. For 30 dollars we should of been able to keep the fish bowl. We weren't. Then the kitchen closed and they only severed selected items (maybe an after hours menu is something you should look into) finally we were seated next to a table of military men (won't name the branch) they were finely dressed maybe coming from a military function (not very gentlemen like behavior), well to the point, one female guest had to much to drink and was being passed around in an unflattering manner. She past out on a chair, no one from Adobe came to see what happened. The servers kept serving, (is there no protocol for situations like this). Your place seems to do very well but the experience could of been better if not for the few incidents that kept ocurring. Like lastly, the 1hr long wait to get in the bathroom.
Awesome spot. I have been here a few times now. Sometimes during the day but mostly Friday and Saturday nights. I enjoy the range of music. Margaritas are good, but honestly I have no idea how strong they are because we always pregame. Free entry before 10p. Afterwards $5. Semi lax dress code. No gym shoes or hats, though my converse seem to slide. The bartenders have always been courteous and attentive. A must try.
