Food was amazing as expected! We arrived promptly for our reservation and were seated right away! The service was a bit too rush/fast for my liking. I felt a little like they were rushing people out, but maybe they were just too efficient! Our main entrees arrived before our table was cleared from the previous course. It was a bit chaotic with a swamp of servers hovering over us trying to take all the plates off the table and serve us the entrees. I just really wanted to tell them to chill out and calm down a bit. I didn't like having 4 to 5 servers all over our heads with plates at the same time.

Nevertheless, it was an incredible meal. The soup of the day - shrimp chili was unimpressive and salty. Grilled octopus salad and the bread were great, though I had better grilled octopus elsewhere but that did not matter as it was not the main course. The Holy Grail really lived up the hype. My first bite was completely covered in salt, luckily, the rest of it was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Side dish, truffle potato was really big, but it was a great complimentary to the steak. We were so glad that we shared the main course, so we can still have dessert. I was surprised with their amazing desserts too, especially with the mint Oreo cake!

On a side note, I was glad to see many kids there as well. And they were very accommodating to kids even though they don't have a kid menu. They even gave us a little kids appetizer with carrots and apple slices.

Food was great, service was just good. Our server was the nicest guy in the world but just took forever to come check on us. They were extremely busy but seemed as if they would have more then enough staff to help us. For the money I was disappointed.

The server was great, other than that I was disappointed. I asked for water without ice, the expression on the young man's face looked as though I irritated him with this request. My husband's steak was thin and lacking seasoning. Some of the fries were burnt. And the worse part was when they were taking our leftovers to be boxed. The same ice water guy came and took our plates and literally rested them on the same tray with dirty plates from another table. My son's leftover pieces of chicken fell off the plate and onto the tray with the dirty dishes. I attempted to tell the guys that we were planning to take the leftovers home, for a second time and they continued to place the plates with the dirty dishes. I say attempted because both guys who were taking our plates totally ignored what I was saying. I am so disgusted, I'm likely to report this establishment to the public health department. I've NEVER experienced this deplorable and unprofessional service at any other steak houses I've been to in the downtown area. Management needs to do some serious changes before they get shut down.

This is 4th visit. As always, wonderful service and fabulous food. The bacon appetizer is beyond amazing. You can't go wrong with a meal here, though the marinated skirt steak had a amazingly good flavor tonight. We love the creamed spinach too.

My family and I went for mothers day brunch. It was very expensive but we had a fabulous time. We sat outside right next to the Chicago river and drank bloody Mary's after we ate. Our waiter Tony was very wonderful. Very helpful and had a great attitude. Never rushed us to leave and took pictures of my family by the river. I would love to go back for dinner someday.

Service was exquisite. Food on the other hand, no so good. Really didn't live up to the expectation. Better off going to RPM or Mastro's.

I went there on my first ever visit to Chicago and it was amazing. Drew, our server was also amazing. My only complaint is that they have Pepsi products instead of Coke products. The food was exceptional, great view, great service, great mimosas, etc.

Service is great. Food is good not great. Steaks consistently over-cooked (think ordering medium rare and getting medium well-it was a table of 14 and this was consistently the case). At this price point you can do much better. More of a tourist spot than a good Chicago dining experience. All around overpriced.

My first time here and I wasn't disappointed, the service was great, the food tasted good, the restaurant itself is nice. However , about 6 hours after I was promptly puking my guts out, and I only had there nueske bacon, Delmonico steak and potatoes. Not many options to get sick from there so I'd say it was the steak or bacon. Also I was clearly on a date and dressed to the 9's and requested to sit outside on the patio on the beautiful 80 degree summer night that it was but was told several times that that wasn't an option, so then we were seated with a window view of the patio where we could clearly see the 9 or so people that for some reason were good enough for the patio. Great place but my first experience was definitely sub par

Great fine dining experience! This is really a fantastic place to have a perfect dinner. The food, the service, the bathroom, the drinks, every thing was just amazing. The servers even divide the sides between the guest for it. At one point, I thought the might even feed me - they were extremely attentive to the need of the guests. I would 100% recommend here. I would have dinner here again whenever I am in Chicago.

We had a reservation for this steakhouse on Valentine's Day to do the obviouscelebrate Valentine's Day. Unfortunately, our evening was ruined. As soon as we walked up the manager told my boyfriend they couldn't allow us to enter because he had two cuts in his jeans. His jeans were dark and you can barely see them. They weren't frayed or distressed. He had a long peacoat over it too. It was so slight I didn't even realize they had two cuts in them until the guy said something. What is crazy about this is that they pick and choose when and who they want to let in. My boyfriend has dined here before and has seen customers wearing their hats backwards and casual sneakers. My boyfriend had on a pair of dark denim jeans with two simple cuts with no frays or distressed areas topped with a nice long black peacoat. It was 11:30pm and I feel like he could have made an exception considering it was a holiday, we made reservations and it was so late. I was so disappointed. We don't even live in Chicago. We came to Chicago to celebrate Valentine's day and couldn't even get dinner at a restaurant where we made reservations.

This is the place to go for steak and a great selection of wine. The staff is amazing and eager to help with your wine choices - should you need help with their extensive list. Great for lunch and lots of fun in the late night hours!

Our experience at Chicago Cut was like none other. The customer service was outstanding. We began the night at the bar, where the bartenders were friendly and inviting (thanks, Brandon). Then we sat, where our service was prompt and welcoming (thanks, Ted). Delectable doesn't quite describe the evening's fare. The three of us come to Chicago twice a year, and we will be returning very soon.

Brunch here was amazing! You HAVE TO ORDER to lobstercargo on the appetizer menu. I've been thinking about it since I finished my last bite. I had the surf and turf Benedict - it was very good as well. Sat outside (in February) which was smart of them to open up the patio even though it might have only been for the day. The service was excellent as well.
