It is Labor Day and my air is not working. Knowing a little about things I determined it was the blower. Called to schedule service for tomorrow and then Neil the owner called and said he would be here in about an hour. It was just a simple part and now all is good and cool again. This is the best company in Highlands Co. And what great service. So many of my neighbors have just been taken down the road and bought new units from other companies. Would highly recommend Absolutely Cool for all your HVAC needs.

My air conditioner was freezing up. I had been a customer of longs air conditioners for years. They told me i needed a new ac unit and quoted me $4,000. The technician was very rude and just wanted to get out of my house with a sale. He was only there for fifteen minutes. I called Absolutely Cool and they spent nearly three hours working on my ac to actually diagnose the problem. They cleaned one component after another and really took the time to educate me on what needed to be fixed and why. Me ac is running beautfully now and they have a customer for life!

My AC has been down since beginning of February. After two other local companies tried to rip me off By telling me my entire system needed to be replaced I decided to call absolutely cool on a friends suggestion. Neil and his guys took care of me the next day and we're able to replace my condenser for a fifth of the cost that I would have had to spend elsewhere. It's hard to find honest and trustworthy workmanship today but these guys surpassed my expectations by far. Absolutely cool earns a 12 out of 10 in my book great job guys I'm a customer for life.

So I made my appointment 4 days in advance, scheduled for between 9 and 11 am, and I was told that in the event that a freon leak was the issue, they could use stop leak and the total cost would be $350.00.

On the day of the appointment I received a call at about 10 minutes to 10 explaining that there was a hang up at the appointment before mine and the service person would arrive at my house around noon. He finally got to my house at 2pm. I was essentially told, "S^%t happens."

He tested my AC system and told me there was indeed a leak, and that I would be charged $425.00 for the stop leak repair. When I told him that Brenda at the office had told me over the phone that the charge would be $350.00, he called me a liar and told me that she had never given me a price.

By far the worst customer service I have received since moving to the area 2 yrs ago. If there was a rating less than 1 star, they would definitely get it from me. I would recommend finding another company to repair your air conditioner.

Edit:

With regards to the actual work being done, the man was relatively quick and seemed quite knowledgeable. It took aprox. 20 minutes to install the stop leak and replace the missing freon. Time will tell if the stop leak works, but that has little to do with the company in question I think and they were very up front about this not being a guaranteed fix. For the moment, my AC seems to be working quite well.

I had an excellent visit with Ben from absolutelycoolinc. He knew what the problem was with my air conditioner unit immediately and fixed it right there. He was very courteous and explained to me the problem. They even waived the 69.00 fee for coming out and just out it towards the bill. Brenda the Manager in the office was very pleasant on the phone when I called to make the appt. and it was the same day. I was and am very pleased with their company and will definitely use them again and refer them to my friends and family.

Service, Service that's the name of the game ,and Absolutely Cool delivers. Couldn't ask for a nicer, friendlier experience. All the service technicians seamed very knowledgeable in there job. I use them about 8 times a year, as a business owner I know how important it is to return calls and be at the job location when you commit to it for individuals or business and they deliver.
