In Miami it is hard to get good contractors and even workers to show up that do good work. This company has great contractors that take pride in the work they do. They are on time and do an amazing job. We needed roof tile repairs and a few leaks and wood soffit repaired. They did a great job in less than 5 full days. So good my neighbors watched them all week and are now going to hire them to do work on their home. The workers were respectful of the property and cleaned up every day after working. I cannot stress how great they are and how happy I am with the work. 5 stars!

I was able to quickly obtain an estimate for a total roof replacement for my single family home. As I shopped other companies, it didn't take long to realize that the quote was really affordable. Once I signed on, the timeline was rapid: City permit applied for & issued (city permit process was longest bit), the roofing crew plus supplies arrived within a day-two after permit issued, and ultimately my 1100 sq ft "rolled roofing" was completed in 2-days including the wood decking replacement that my home needed due to damage. I have been a multiple property owner in the past, and have personal experience contracting for home repairs and improvements. I can honestly say that I have never seen a roofing crew work so diligently. I was truly impressed. Roof easily passed inspection as well. No call backs. Very happy with the appearance of the roof even though I wasn't initially thrilled about the local zoning ordinance that required my roof to be "rolled roofing." However, it looks GREAT! Huge improvement to home's appearance. It was a very good experience with great results.

Tim and Sawyer were an absolute pleasure to work with. I have a rare type of roof that they have unique experience with and I'm lucky I found these guys. Aside from the technical know-how, they are extremely responsive, polite, professional, and committed to service. Hopefully I never have roof issues again (at least for a long time), but if I do, the choice is clear.

I called Perkins after getting two other quotes. I go by my instincts and I really liked Tim's professionalism and the time he spent checking my roof and discussing my options. The first two companies, including the one that installed my roof 15 yrs ago, did not even go up on the roof! Tim gave me a quote right away and they sent someone out within a week of when I was ready to go. They did a great job, cleaned up nicely, and Tim came out to make sure everything was progressing as it should. Thanks for the nice work. It has been raining a lot and no leaks!

They scheduled my appointment to come see my roof and give me an estimate 3 times. each time i had to take time off from work and stay home only for them not to show up and when i call they tell me they didnt have the appointment on their books, rescheduled it again and didn't show up again. 3 times in 1 week. save yourself the time and trouble there are a lot of contractors in the area there is no need to lose your productive time waiting for an unorganized company.

GREAT roofing company!
As far as preventative maintenance is concerned, Perkins Roofing schedules the preventative maintenance each year, they show up on time, and make sure there are no leaks. Any roof at any conditions, Perkins Roofing is able to have it maintained the right way. We just had a new roof installed and are very happy with the outcome! The project manager, Johnny, along with his associates, were very knowledgeable and happily answered our many questions. Dean himself stopped by several times to ensure our satisfaction. Thank you Perkins Roofing!

I've used Perkins Roofing for my own home and my rental properties for almost 20 years. When a roofer is in business for that many years, they have to be good because the mediocre roofers go out of business in a short time. They do an excellant job for a reasonable price.Another word that can be susbtituted for "Perkins" Roofing is"Honest" Roofing. They only fix what needs to be fixed. I once had what I thought was a roof leak that was causing water staining on myceiling. Dean came out, went in the attic and came back down a few minutes later and told me my roof was fine but my a/c duct was missing some insulation that was causing it to sweat and drip on my ceiling. When I offered to pay him for his time and trip to my house, he refused saying he couldn't charge me because he didn't fix anything. How honest is that!
I am also aware that Perkins Roofing also installs and repairs roofs on large commercial condominiums, industrial buildings,and government facilities. As I mentioned before, you have to be a credible company to do government work and Perkins does it.
In summation, an experienced roofing company that does quality work, warranties its work, all for a reasonable price. The only roofing company I call when I need a new roof or a roof leak repaired.response / report this review -

Dean and crew just completed a roofing job for our condominium association on Miami Beach. I have never seen such attention to detail and professionalism. Meticulous documentation of every stage was captured in photos for submission to our commercial insurance carrier. What a quality roof! It's going to last forever. We passed city inspection and met 2015 codes. We saved over $350.00 on our insurance premium thanks to Dean's tireless efforts to supply all the information requested by our insurance agent. We recently had Dean from Perkins Roofing company replace our old roof in Miami Beach and we couldn't be more satisfied. Dean met with the inspectors during and after the installation and we now meet 2015 building codes. If you need a roof, do yourself a favor and have Dean come out and give you a price, you'll be glad you did.
