My husband and I were looking for a place to stay while waiting to close on our house. I contacted The Ave because he does so much work in the City and the surrounding areas. When I called the receptionist explained a manager would have to return my call because we only needed it for a short amount of time. Here we are 5 days later and no one has bothered to return our call. Wouldn't expect this type of experience from a
"luxury" place like this. Will not recommend to anyone.response / report this review -

I've lived here for 3 years and have loved every moment. Facility is always clean and polished -- great amenities (pool is beautiful, workout room always clean with new machines, bathrooms in public areas are always clean, etc). Staff is exceptional -- always happy to help with any questions / concerns. Property is well kept by maintenance and landscaping.

Daily rates are super expensive. Furniture and bedding are just so-so. Kitchen is missing many common items such as bowls, oven mitts, peeler. And who uses GLASS CUTTING BOARDS?? Office staff are mostly incompetent and overwhelmed. Building materials are cheap - thin walls, thin ceilings, loud pipes - noise everywhere. Outdoor pool is only opened Memorial Day to Labor Day, and it's too crowded with party people and screaming kids to do much lap swimming, plus it doesn't open until 10am - when everybody's at work. Rest of the year the pool is closed and useless. This whole apartment complex is all show and no substance.
