If there was a way to do a minus 1 star on this I would! My daughter had her car stolen from the church parking lot! The police told her in was not a priority so the best thing is to spread the word and CALL THE TOW COMPANIES to see if it has been picked up. She started calling around and got to AMS on the list. She was told that she was being dumb and needs to report it to the police! After explaining that she did make a report with the police and they told her to call TOW companies, she again was told that she was dumb and wasting her time! She was also told that tow companies run the license plates before towing and would have reported it to police. This is not true according to the police officer! AND more than likely the theif would have taken the plates off or switched them! Not only is my daughter (who has 3 kids and is now without a car, car seats, stroller etc. and is incredibly stressed out!) upset but she definitely does NOT need to be treated like that!! What happened to kindness, understanding, loving your neighbor!? Are we so detached from the world that we can't even be nice?! How sad!

We are an Over The Road refrigerated carrier who uses call-out repair services all over the country. It is unfortunate that many repair operations are usually expensive to the point of ridiculous for after hours road calls. We used AMS to replace an alternator on a refer unit at midnight & were surprised to find a carrier friendly operation that does charge a fair rate and does make good on any charging issues or questions after the repair. The office manager Autumn went to great lengths to insure that we were charged correctly and even called to say she was sending us a refund for a rate misunderstanding. THAT DOES NOT HAPPEN ! Sure is refreshing to discover this carrier friendly repair shop with after hours service in Ogden,UT.. Nice Job AMS ! And special thanks Autumn ---

If there's a rating below 1 star, this company deserves it. Absolute horrible service. They can't get their prices right. Their employees can't be talked to without them threatening you. Just horrible customer service. Before I called, I had opened my tires and got them replaced at a Pep Boys nearby. All I needed was a second jack to give me a good lift so I can install the new tires since they were inflated and needed more height. As soon as the tow truck guy came in, he makes you sign an empty receipt before he begins work and doesn't give you an estimate besides saying its $312 an hour. He was there literally 20 mins since I had all the work done before he came and used my phone to time it just in case something like this would happen. Lo and behold it did, my gut instinct was right. My final bill came out to $252 for those 20 min. I told him the receipt says $125 an hour and it was way less than an hour. He said it was an hour minimum and they charge double the rate since the Highway Patrol called them to assist me. He literally spent 20 min running my card and another 20 min writing a receipt. I am not kidding you, I wish I could exaggerate but this company is blatantly stealing and I would highly recommend people stay away from doing business with them. I tried talking to the driver and he had an attitude and threatened to call the sheriff. For what? For asking you why the prices and the time spent don't add up? He was very rude and impolite. Gave me some story about he gets only $25 from that fee and the company rakes the difference. I mean if you know that is wrong and you're working for that company, shouldn't you relay that's it not right and making you look bad? I'm sure this has happened to multiple people and they didn't get a chance to write their story but if I could help a potential customer out there and warn them, then I feel I did my duty. As a business owner, I wish someone from management would read this and decide for themselves what a horrible way to do service and lose potential customers.

The associates were very courteous when I called to schedule the tow from the dealership to my home. The driver, Keenan, was very professional and an amazing driver. He was confident and able to squeeze his tow truck in between my brick mailbox and my travel trailer to put the vehicle in my driveway for me to do the repairs. I would highly recommend your company and will personally request Mr. Keenan if I ever need a tow again.

My son called for lockout service and there was a glitch with his payment card. Because he could not pay they took his keys locked his car and accused him of "Theft", would not allow him to retrieve anything from inside including his wallet, towed and impounded his car over the weekend since this happened on a Friday. They did not give him a business card and since my son is learning disabled and was stressed he did not remember where the driver said they were towing his car to. All weekend we had no idea where his car was and the dispatchers would not give an answer just said to call the office on Monday. $240 later my learning disabled son has his car back. Absolute horrible and unnecessary experience with this disgusting predatory greedy company. Driver was unprofessional and insensitive.

I wish I didn't have to choose a star rating but I'm writing this to warn you that they don't give a real quote! I called to compare prices and they gave me a list of fees for everything they do, $2.50 per mile, an additional after 11 miles, a charge for the hook, and on and on. Then when I asked for an estimate they said basically I have to figure that out. I'm sorry but I've never had a company make me figure out their math equation to get some idea of what my final tab would be. I gave them the locations and they make me try to figure out their confusing system.

For that reason I'll never use them. The last place I called said $100. I'm going with them not AMS. I've seen other companies say it's this much per mile plus a fee. That's fine. I felt like with these guys I had a homework assignment and needed to pull out a notebook to keep track of all the separate fees.

It's like calling a hotel and having them say, it's this much for the bed, plus this much for the maid service, a service fee for the towels and a surcharge of x amount per night. Instead of saying what their rate is. C'mon!!!

I was on a quick return trip from Vancouver, WA to Canon City, CO to be with my mom who was not expected to live much longer. I had just missed my stepdad's passing while I was away and I was halfway home when my van broke down. I found AMS Towing online and called at 8am for help. Needless to say, I was very emotional, tired, and stressed when I called. The receptionist was very patient with me and helpful with directions. I limped the few miles to their shop and found the front office staff very thorough, polite, and helpful. They got my van into the shop by 8:45am. The master technician, Steven, went above and beyond to help diagnose the problem and get the right parts ordered and installed. He took the time to ask questions AND listen to me; and he showed and explained to me exactly what the problem was and how the parts all worked together. He was very professional and never tried to sell me anything that I did not need. I was out of the shop in about two hours and on my way home to my mom. I would give them ten stars for service if I could.

Angie & Autumn are great people to work with! We had a sour situation with a vehicle go very positive thanks to these good people and their help! We are very much appreciative of their service. They have integrity and I would recommend using their service when necessary.

I blew a tire near Ogden, and had to call a tow truck to get to a tire store. AMS sent Dave out to pick me up, and he was super nice and did a great job.

As a young woman, I always worry about being taken advantage of by people who think I don't know what I'm talking about, but Dave was very nice and helpful and I didn't feel like I was getting gouged by their prices. I will definitely use them in the future if I need to (although hopefully I don't), and I definitely recommend them!

I had a forklift that I needed to transfer from one city to another. I called and AMS said they could handle the job. Not one other towing company I called would help me out, but AMS sent out a pro within an hour of my phone call. They sent Steve, and I have never dealt with a more professional tow driver. Steve knew his business well and was able to offer suggestions and even made sure that when he delivered my forklift that he took extra care not to damage the asphalt in the parking area. This was a painless experience for me. I deal with professional drivers on a regular basis and have never had such a good experience. I will be recommending AMS--and Steve specifically--to everyone I know in the future. My company will be calling them first when we need towing services.

I had a really great experience. They were fast, curtious and very professional. My insurance didn't give them all the information and they called to clear everything up. They are professional and one of the best towing companies I have delt with.
