I have been coming to this shop since it was still AJ's Bikes and Boards and was located in the shopping plaza by Publix. Even after all these years, the great service, quality, and care of the employees has never changed. The employees are knowledgeable, laid back, and very willing to help out with any gear related issues. The parking lot is a safe place to test out bikes when you are buying new, and is also a great place to show any problems that aren't immediately recognizable. Furthermore, this shop is well equipped with new models of popular brands and has lots of gear for trail riding, mountain biking, or street riding. They are also a great source to learn about local trails and clubs, with maps being sold in the store and the employees knowledgeable about them.

This is the best place in the Tampa area for bikes and service. My friends and I have bought bikes and parts from here and they treat us like friends when we walk in.

great shop that i trust. all but one of my experiences have ever been positive and i chalk that one up to someone having a rough day. my biggest gripe is i have to drive across town to get there, but that's not their fault. good news or bad, they've always been straight with me in the service department with my mountain bike. i bought my road bike there quite awhile back, and i was very satisfied with the entire experience.

I went into AJ's and looked around, a saleswoman was very friendly and helped me find a bike I liked. It was a "slightly used" 2015 giant talon for an amazing price. The first thing when I got home and got on it, the chain flew off and I fell on the pavement. The next day the chain flew off again and I got serious roadrash and a broken bike. I took it to the manager and asked why they sold me a faulty bike? All he said was we checked everything I returned the bike and they ordered me a brand new bike worth a lot more, with no extra money out of my pocket! But they orered the wrong size, color, and it's taking a week longer than it should have. The promised to have it done on a certain day, but they don't even think its gonna get assembled on that day. I'm very disappointed and angry. I will not be doing business with them again!

First I I ordered a rockhopper mountain bike, they did not have my size, so they ordered the bike so it was suppose to come on Monday night that they received it and I told them that I was going to pick it up by Friday. They kept calling me Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday and told them the same thing, felt harassed in a way. When I go pick it up they didn't had the right size for my bike, so they kept calling me to come and get it and telling me if I don't come and pick it up they will not build it! and they had the wrong order Another occasion I drop my bike on a sunday to get the real derailleur fix, they told me that they were going to have it ready by Monday, called Monday they didn't have it ready, then I called Thursday they said they had the part to come in Friday so I went Friday, and they didn't even had the bike or the part ready. Great selection of bikes, but the organization in there is not the best.

The BEST bike shop there is. The staff is amazing & super knowledgeable. They treat you like family. The selection is great. I bought a Townie beach cruiser & accessories from the shop. & the staff put together the coolest bike for me! 10/10 stars, would highly recommend. Will be buying all of my bikes from here from now on. Just an all around amazing experience.
