This place is well stocked and has very helpful staff. The bakery has lots of delicious items. They have fresh seafood and lots of it too.

This market is big. As a Chinese-American, I sometimes shop here and there are lots of varieties of drinks and foods. Some examples are sweet tea from Taiwan and delicious Chinese noodles. Even the fish selection is good here, including wild caught salmon and sea bass. It is very big and it also has a Chinese-American food court. Besides food and drinks, there are also travel agencies in and out of this place. It is very great to visit here!

decent groceries (sometimes not the best qualities) for affordable prices. not everything is fresh so you might have to hunt around or go at different days of the week but you can usually find good deals on certain items. it's not the cleanest place. also has some stores outside of the grocery section but they don't seem too popular.

99 Ranch Clairemont has many Asian grocery items. This is one of my go-to grocery stores when I need Asian cooking items. The seafood, meats, vegetables, and fruits are usually always fresh and not a bad price. The sales are also good, keep up with their online ad. I enjoy purchasing the pound cake loafs from the bakery, banana nut bread is my favorite. Best time to go is on the weekday, weekends are very busy and packed. Parking spaces tend to be a little compact.

This place has everything for Asian cuisine you could be looking for! (And probably won't find anywhere else!) Whether you're looking to cook, or decide to grab something quick out of the freezer or just want something warm from the bakery it's all here. From live crabs & catfish to an aisle stocked with every kind of sauce, to fresh fruit & vegetables, you won't leave empty handed. There's also a jewelry shop, tea (loose) shop, BBQ restaurant inside the building before you enter the grocery store.

If you are looking for a true Asian market, this is a great option! Great pricing & lots of options from all over the world! Recommend going on a week day, as it is very crowded on weekends!

This is not a pretencious ambiance, it's the food that had brought me back for decades. A huge variety of Chinese entrees, all at reasonable, cash only, prices. My wife insists on the eggplant hotpot, my daughter the Walnut shrimp, and my son the BBQ pork. Great food in a plain setting with mediocre service. But the food, and the value, bring g us back.

10/10, I live nearby and shop here regularly for my groceries. They have a huge variety and I always find what I'm looking for. I've noticed their selection is very large, and the veggies and fruits are always fresh and seasonal. The meats are also fresh and well packaged and prepared. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful, even with language barriers at times. Just a great shopping experience over all.

Food court service is fair. They normally don't pay attention to customers that much since talking to one another in their language is more entertaining. Ready cooking meals price were not showing when we ask how much does it cost. She just wrapped and put them with one of our order without price noticed. Until we asked again for 3rd times. Cooked meal is not fresh as we thought it smelled and can not be eaten. Could be the last time for buying food here.

More spacious than a typical Ranch 99, this one has a great produce selection and connects to a larger Asia-focused shopping center (that include a decent boba tea place). The place is well maintained, and the shelves well stocked, even around the holidays. Meats seem pretty fresh, and the people very friendly and helpful.

If i lived in SD, I would visit regularly.

Love this Asian market. Although if you want to save money, I recommend purchasing the groceries that are "typically" in season, otherwise it will cost more. Additionally, the employees are extremely helpful and patient if you don't speak the same language. Overall great place, I recommend stopping by the bakery on the way out, always a delicious treat on the way out.

It's got the ethnic food that most people are looking for, but space wise, it's pretty tight, especially if you come on the weekend. Fortunately, it's well organized and flows fairly smoothly. It was easy enough to return the wrong sized pot lid that I bought, and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. The cooked food is tasty, so grab some on your way to the checkout counter.
