Pretty seating area outside. The one server was wonderful, unfortunately he wasn't ours! I decided on a caesar salad, and the waiter ask if I wanted to add chicken to it. No, I just wanted a salad, as I am not much of a meat eater. His reply? "It's only $2.00." As if I didn't want the chicken because of the cost! I was rather insulted! I just didn't want the meat!
I recommend Venezia! Wait staff is wonderful, and food is great!response / report this review -

Prices are not quite as high as other restaurants in the area but portions are very small. I got the chicken piccatta. It was one cutlet with very little sauce and a laughable amount of pasta on the side as well as some weird pea, onion, carrot, red cabbage concoction. Flavor was ok but was let down for the price. Live music is nice tho.

This would have been five star review if not for one of the servers Let me start off by saying David was amazing! He was hanging around outside when we were walking around the circle. David made small talk with us, talked about the weather, asked us where we were from, and invited us in. When we were seated (at a table that had glasses and plates on it from another customer) our server - I think Joe was his name - looked less than thrilled to see us. He took our drink order then ignored us. DAVID had come back to check on us and HE took our order. When Joe did drop off our drinks he didn't say a word to us. Same when he dropped off the pizza we ordered. He didn't make eye contact, nor did he speak to us. Now here's the thing, we sat in the lounge and not less than 10 feet from us Joe was working the bar and was treating his other customers with all the care and respect one would expect at a restaurant, making jokes, smiling, etc.. We are here in Florida for our honeymoon and we came back to this area because of the wonderful experience we had last time we were here. This time was completely different and Joe was one of those defining people that weren't making the start of our honeymoon a great one. I don't know if it's a standard procedure to treat tourists like something stuck to the bottom of your shoe, if we did something wrong, or if this guy just had an attitude problem or what, but we weren't impressed with him. The food, however, was awesome, fresh ingredients, great flavor, delicious.When we were finished eating, David brought us a box without us even asking for one! Good job David!! And thank you, we were having a bit of a rough trip and you were one of the few people who made us feel welcome. Needless to say, David got a bigger tip than our actual server..

Amazing Italian food. If you're on St. Armins make sure that you stop here for the pizza.

Worst pizza in a long time. If you pick the Vegetarian pizza, just remember to Tell the me to actually cook the veggies before putting them on the pizza!!! Bad service.

We went here in November 2016 and holy smokes their food is phenomenal!!! We found this place by accident and wandered on in to find a cozy, romantic italian cuisine piano bar. We got to be serenaded to a gentleman playing jazz music at a piano. Their pizza is to die for and their ravioli was top notch. We also indulged in some dessert and were not disappointed. The staff was so nice and even the manager stopped by our table to make sure we were satisfied. Our waiter was on point and was great at making menu suggestions and even suggesting things in the area to do (as we were just visiting). He also was on the ball refilling our drinks and making sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. Anytime I'm in Sarasota I definitely plan to come back here to partake in their awesome atmosphere, food, and service.

My wife and I loved the atomsphere, the waiter, and the friendly customers. The menu looked lovely. Our meal was prepared very well and tasted great. What more could you ask?
